Liked the incredibly fresh greens and creative approaches to vegetables. Am glad this restaurant has enough vegetarian options to allow two vegetarians to come away happy. This restaurant seems generally accommodating of vegetarians; they were willing to change a couple dishes for us. Had a great brussel sprouts dish -- did not realize brussel sprouts could taste that good! Also liked the roasted grapes, the blistered shisito peppers, and the squash cappelletti. Hope the foraged mushroom risotto with farro comes back.

Was nervous taking my Foodie Friend (tm) from NYC to a Seattle place that wasn't by Tom Douglas or other known chef. She was as impressed as I always have been. Excellent food. More fun with enough folks to share plates but I've had wonderful evenings by myself at the bar nibbling on plates.

My girlfriend and I are aspiring foodies on a somewhat limited budget and Terra Plata fits the bill. We started off with the assorted cheese plate, moved on to the brussel sprouts and finished off with the water buffalo burger. Our first thought after ordering was "man, that was an eclectic selection with no thought as to how our dishes would taste as a collective experience moving from one dish to the next!" But ultimately at this place I'm not sure it matters because it was all so good. Normally when I get an assorted cheese plate there are at least one or two cheese offering that are great and one or two that are mediocre. At Terra Plata, they are ALL outstanding. But nothing tops the brussel sprouts, they are to die for!!!

Have enjoyed two meals now at Terra Plata and would recommend it to anyone .... unless you are looking for a quite spot. Terra Plata draws the crowds and is loud ... however understandable as the food, wine and drinks are superb. Highly recommend the flash fried brussels sprouts.

Overall a good experience. Not very much like Brasa (the chef's late lamented Belltown bistro). Bring your own Splenda ... they don't have sugar alternatives. Best dish: Churros with chocolate dip.
