The only "complaint" I have is that the food is so unbelievable that I have favorites I can't imagine not having every time I go, so I rarely branch out and try new things. I have gone to top notch tapas restaurants in Grand Rapids and Chicago, and I like Temper Grille better. They serve their dishes as they become ready & not as a meal, which was unique. First came 'smashed' potatoes - yum. Next were the U10 scallops - delicious. Then the fresh green beans with onion & garlic - fantastic. They were followed by their speciality dish, mac & cheese - OMG :) Last but not least was the chicken marsala - rich & filling. There is so much variety on the menu that we'll have to visit quite a few times to try all of the items that sound intriguing. The steak bites and chocolate truffles were fabulous! The asparagus, a favorite veggie for my husband, but not for the rest of the family, would have been a real treat if it had not been over-peppered. That said, we will give them another try.
