Diner Reviews
  • "There's a reason Tarantino's has been around so long and the main ones are the food and its location. A popular 'meet you after work' spot because of its location next to the Westport train station -- the main attraction for me, is its food. The friend who joined me and I have traveled extensively in Europe and Italy and we both agreed that their Veal Milanese is not to be beat! Not only is the veal extremely tender but it is lightly breaded, crispy and well presented. We also had the Branzino which was excellent. The service on this busy night (Friday) was attentive but not overly so, which suits me just fine.I would highly recommend Tarantino's!"

  • "This little gem right across from the train station has survived for years without a lot of fanfare, but the food is consistently some of the finest Italian cuisine in the area. The lighting is pleasantly low but you can read the menu, the service gracious and accommodating, and they obviously use fine purveyors - the meats and fish are first rate, the pastas mostly home-made, and they have a reasonable wine list that is well-chosen. My favorite dish is the Veal Milanese - done to perfection. An excellent choice."

  • "it was too loud to hold a conversation with all 4 at our table... you had to shout to make the person next to you heard."
