We enjoyed a very good bottle of wine to start (the Sebastiani Cab - I'd recommend it!). I had the salmon, my boyfriend had the halibut. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was really lovely - upscale but not stuffy. Patient, kind, and genuine and, most importantly, did not rush us. The food was phenomenal. What impressed us the most was that all of the wait staff helped each other and were friendly to everyone no matter if it was their table or not. Our water glasses were never empty. Unfortunately, that evening an elderly gentleman had a medical emergency while we were there. The staff handled it professionally and discreetly. They even gave us another exit to leave by so as not to create more hindrance to the staff and medical personnel trying to do their job.

The food was delicious, the service was great and the entire styling of restaurant and bar was lovely. My only complaints were no children's menu options and although the restaurant is quite expansive they seated everyone in the same room. Food is always awesome, service terrific, some of the best prepared seafood in town. However- it was SO NOISY!! We had to raise our voices to talk across the table of 4. The acoustics are not great in there, and we were in the quieter room, not the room with the banquettes. But there was a table of about 12 little girls celebrating a birthday party, ordering pizza, singing a very loud happy birthday song with cake. Really? Saturday night at a restaurant this expensive, ordering pizza? Go someplace else. And there were 2 children crying in high chairs at other tables. It felt like we were at Red Robin. SO disappointed. We spent a lot of money for a very nice meal and feeling like we are in Red Robin or Chuckie Cheese?4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a great dinner, foodWe had a great dinner, food was really good and the atmosphere was lively but not distracting. The only thing that wasn't great was the service, it wasn't bad or slow but just a bit scattered. In the end we had a great experience and we will be back.
