Table 45Old Time EleganceWonderful place to enjoy a quiet, sophisticated meal while catching up with friends or simply having a special dinner for two.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazingWe sat at the chefs table and watched the kitchen cook our meal from start to finish. It was great.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMA very good restaurant. DuckA very good restaurant. Duck L'orange wasdelicious but came luke wearm.5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMfamily celebration--8 dinersHaving dined at L;albatros several years ago, we wanted to go there, but no space was available...so we chose this as being associated with L'albatros. Food certainly was good...not to the standard of L'albatros but quite good...Young waiter was extremely attentive but very tentative in behavior. Delivering glasses required great effort. He wasn't fast but he did a good job. The slower service didn't bother us as we all had lots to talk about.. Overall a 4 star night.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMSolid overall experience.Solid overall experience. Food above average but not memorable.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMEclectic and yummyAs vegetarians and pescetarians, we loved the menu. It was diverse enough for both of us to find something to eat, and yet satisfying enough that we felt full. We had the Green Tomato Gazpacho, which was delightful, with a little crunchiness, some yellow tail fin/salmon tuna, which was good, but I didn't care for it much (more about my tastes than the quality); an arugula/goat cheese salad with cashews which was fantastic and then a lasagne-noodle less lasagna, made with grilled vegetables, which was out of this world. Really really good food!5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMJust one thing....I would have appreciated knowing in advance of arriving at the Mother's Day Brunch that parking charges would be credited. I parked in a distant surface lot that was serviced by an automated entrance and exit ticket machine that was not able to recognize the restaurant's stamp.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day BuffetWe were promptly seated upon arrival. Buffet was very big. The only reason I did not give the food 5 stars is because, like buffets can be, some of the less popular items had been sitting in the steamers for a while and were a bit dry or over cooked. The cold / raw seafood offerings were a treat! Prime rib - real deal. Nice flavor! Made to order omelets with real lobster if you like were terrific. The real high-light was the deserts. Over the top, to die for chocolate themed deserts as well as others and the banana/nut-e-la crepes were amazing. Service was top notch!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for business lunches!Great service, great food selections (vegetarian options available), and spacious seating arrangements to facilitate private conversations.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGood experience overallSlow kitchen service tonight, but the waiter was good. The new menu was enjoyable too! For a Monday night this place was packed! Happy hour is always popular with sushi, but the restaurant had some big groups in it as well after an event ended in the hotel.4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfectly quietI chose this restaurant because we were meeting out-of-town friends and wanted a quiet place to catch up. Other reviewers recommended it for its quiet atmosphere, excellent food and the private table room so I thought we'd try it. I just requested a quiet table through Open Table and was delighted that we too were given the private table room. The menu was diverse and interesting but not "strange". (I had an amazing Asian slaw, red fish on a bed of mashed sweet potatoes followed by coconut sorbet) Everyone enjoyed delicious wines, entrees, desserts - really the whole experience - we'll be visiting Table 45 again soon.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had the private glass booth..verWe had the private glass booth..very romantic. Service was great!4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMOur first visit to Table 45Our first visit to Table 45 since it first opened, and it did not disappoint. The menu is extremely varied, with something for all tastes. The food is first rate, with everything very well prepared and delicious. Zach's chicken with frites is excellent, and the pork dish was wonderful. The noise level was extremely high due to several large groups with small children who ran around the restaurant most of the evening. The decor is minimal to the point of austere, and it appears to need some refreshing. My seat was probably the worst in the place. The restaurant seems to be the hotel's "everything" spot, and there were people who were well dressed as well as those who looked as if they'd just rolled out of bed. Our server was great.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMFood as always was great,Food as always was great, the Walleye was great!
It seemed a little noisy, staff were attentive but not over our shoulders. Deserts were very nice and made on premises!4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMeverything was great as iteverything was great as it always is at Table 45. The Naan bread is phenomenal.4/17/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous-RomanticEverything was fabulous. This our Easter celebration special place every year. Thank you Sincerely, Joe3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMTable 45 Brunchit's a shame that Table 45 only does brunch two times per year. Easter and Mother's Day, or maybe it's a good thing since all the food was so lucious. Anything you could possibly want is on the buffet menu and if you want to just chill and enjoy- the staff is wonderful. Never pushy but always there when you need them .
Seriously, if you an swing it for these two holidays, go because it is the best brunch in town. well worth waiting for!3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMThe most impressive part ofThe most impressive part of our visit was the table they gave us. Since we were catching up with friends that we hadn't seen in quite a while, we asked for a quiet, isolated table. They have a special table assigned for this purpose which is off in an alcove screen by a glass divider. It was almost as if we had entertained in our own dining room.
Make no mistake, the food was great also....nothing at all was left on our plates.
Thanks Open Table!3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMFriend of Zach'sChef Zach Bruell strikes again! Having followed him since Z Contembporary Cuisine at Eton twenty years ago or so(?), Chef Bruell has time and again designed carefully thought-out menus with authentic ingredients to give Cleveland the opportunity to dine apart from the normal menu choices at average restaurants. Table 45 gives homage to his special table "45" at Parallax, where attention and service is superlative. I think that the entire Table 45 has a chance at achieving this level of service, if the evening staff is as good as the lunch crew. We were charmed to have a relaxing lunch in a spacious, open and bright room, with doting service! I will surely return, and was pleased to be informed of the happy hour also! Thank you!3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMMenu offers many deliciousMenu offers many delicious vegan and vegetarian choices as well as a full menu of other wonderful food choices. Tried appetizers, salads, and a few entrees and they were all great! Highly recommend if you want to eat some really good food!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent service, deliciousExcellent service, delicious food and a lovely dining experience quite worthy of a special occasion.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMMy Book Club was celebratingMy Book Club was celebrating our 15 year anniversary and we were very well accommodated in a private table for seven. The food was superb, our waiter was phenomenal, and we all loved the entire experience. A special fresh fruit plate dessert was even prepared for me since I don't really "do" sweets. It was a special occasion and we did indeed were made to feel special. I will definitely return with my family for special celebrations.3/8/2013 12:00:00 AM
