SUSHISAMBA stripAwesomeFood ambiance staff- totally awesome. We dined here 2 in our 5 day visit to Vegas.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMA favorite when in Vegas...... for low-key and really tasty. Don't miss the 3-or-5-meats option with sauces; so many good options though.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing! This restaurant never fails to deliver. It is a little on the pricey side, but it is totally worth spending that little extra. Food is heavenly and the drinks list is great too! For that special night in Vegas, I'd highly recommend Sushi Samba. You're unlikely to find many other places that will deliver this special night.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfectMy Husband and I go to Sushisamba at least once a month. There menu is a fusion of Japanese and Spanish cultures colliding.
We just love the place.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food, poor seatingFabulous food very knowledgeable staff very poor seating noise was almost unbearable at times seated us in a very high traffic area on two lousy little wobbly tables , An incredible sake wine list everything you could imagine, The food selection with help from the waitress was phenomenal too bad about the table in the noise,4/29/2013 12:00:00 AMInnovative, original and outstandinInnovative, original and outstanding menu. Superior Food, Killer Sake/wine list, and excellent service in a very cool environment. Two years between visits (to Las Vegas) and SushiSamba has not missed a beat. This establishment is now a must-go on our list whenever we visit Las Vegas!4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderfully LoudTheir service and food is impeccable. We had El Topo, Maya, Sashimi Ceviche, Sashimi Tiraditos & Edamame, all of which was to die for. Our server was great, attentive and very helpful with the menu. The only criticism with Sushi Samba was noise level of their music. When I can't hear my wife who is sitting right next me unless we yell, well that's a bit much. Otherwise…great.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMYummy!!!We were there for a birthday dinner while on vacation and thus had a larger budget for this meal than usual. We splurged on the "variety" meal our waitress provided as an option which included 8 dishes to share (3 appetizer size dishes of shrimp tempura with a delicious black truffle oil, sea bass robata with Peruvian corn and yellowtail taqueria followed by wagyu (with hot rock stone for cooking at the table with assortment of numerous sauces) and then 3 sushi rolls (rainbow, spicy tuna and maya) and two pieces of kanpachi in a lemongrass sauce. It was delicious with inventive combinations in a vibrant atmosphere. Service was slow at first likely because she had 5 tables sit in a short amount of time. I would definitely return!!4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMIt's a great place to shareIt's a great place to share plates and try a variety of different dishes. The combination of brazilian, peruvian and japanese food is very intriguing and quite tasty. The special rolls were absolutely delicious...they were made with lobster, shrimp tempura and crab...YUM! We had some of the most delicious sake I've ever tried. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly. I do want to note the smoke from some of the sizzling plates was unbearable at times. It was very noisy and too dim. The selection and ambience isn't quite the same as the NYC location. Good to try the Las Vegas location but maybe just once.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMSushi Samba in the PalazzoSushi Samba in the Palazzo is a buzzing and memorable restaurant which we highly enjoyed. our waiting staff were very helpful and chose various dishes for us as we were unsure of the menu. His choices were inspired and the food we ate was well prepared, very well presented and the service of the dishes was timed well so that we did not have to wait long between each. The experience was memorable and very unusual. A lovely find.4/8/2013 12:00:00 AMYou WILL go more than once! Great fThe food was amazing, service was top notch, we will be back!
We tried a variety of foods and every plate that came out was "our favorite". The filet in mushroom sauce was amazing, the rolls were delicious, the little tacos and scallops on shell were perfectly cooked. Because all the foods were perfect for our palette, we had to get the banana dessert... 5 stars.
Our server Isaac was very knowledgeable, friendly and prompt.
The other staff was very friendly and smiling.
So sad we went here on our last day, because we would have ate there a few times if we went earlier!4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMOh, wow!! I love to eat somethingOh, wow!! I love to eat something and react, "How did they make that? WOw!" This retaurant was such like that. Being an amateur at-home chef myself, I have been too often underwhelmed by restaurants these days. Not this place. Outstanding in every aspect. My advice: go with a group, put yourself in the hands of the waiter and let them surprise you, plate after plate. And finish it off with the Samba-split for two! Everything so good....3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMI love this place. We wentI love this place. We went for a birthday party and there is variety for all. The love steer roll is amazing !!!3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent place to let theExcellent place to let the waiter/waitress choose your meal.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat!Wonderful selection of sushi as well as other unique dishes. We shared sushi and the pork belly ramen, and both were wonderful. Service was very good and the atmosphere was great. We will definitely be back.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Food....did the 10 personGreat Food....did the 10 person name your price thing...Food was great..Too much sushi and not enough of the "samba" we have been coming to sushi samba now 6 years in a row. Still great..3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMThe fusion of Brazilian andThe fusion of Brazilian and Japanese was truly unique, and the offerings were diverse and wonderfully imaginative. The Saki list was extraordinary, though perhaps a little overwhelming. The service was excellent: our server was from Brazil and very knowledgeable about the cuisine. Every dish we tried was balanced and cooked to perfection. In all, a memorable dining experience.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of our new Vegas favorites5th time at Sushi Samba - never disappointed. Wonderful food served by energetic knowledgable wait staff. If you are unfamiliar with the menu, allow your waiter to make selections for you. They will bring you a mix of some of the best dishes they offer.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat happy hour sushi at the barAlways a good time for a casual dinner with great sushi. My fiancé and I particularly like to grab a seat at the bar for happy hour apps, drinks and sushi. You can't go wrong. Casual spot with fresh sushi! Only comment is...need to add warm saki to the menu, our guests were disappointed to not find any on the menu...3/14/2013 12:00:00 AMI booked a reservation forI booked a reservation for Sushi Samba for my wife's 30th birthday surprise. I requested a quiet romantic seating area, and they were able to accommodate us by seating us in a booth in the back area rather then the busier front side. My wife had some very specific dietary needs (allergies, no meat, etc.), and they were able to recommend and customize a very good menu selection for us.
As always, the food at Sushi Samba was great - with the exception of the Lobster Ceviche which we didn't care for (personal preference). The King Crab legs and everything else was excellent!
Great service, good food, great atmosphere, we'd definitely go back again!3/1/2013 12:00:00 AM
