The mananger brought the stake out the second time and explained do to the mistake she was comping this stake. We were not up set but the jesture sold me on this restaurant.   • "Used to be Sullivans was hopping. Meat prep was excellent . Nowadays things seem blah. The wine list is full of bottles and years they don't actually have. And the meat quality and cooking does not come close to justifying the very high price point . When you want to get 40-50 plus for steak and chops they better be excellent. Seeing the crowd thinning leads me to believe I am not alone in these observations. Hope they come back."

  • "We probably go to Sullivan's four to five times a year and are never disappointed with the food or service. We both had the $39.00 special which includes an appetizer (She- broiled ravioli, I- cheesesteak eggrolls), a salad (both Caesar salads), and an entrée (both the 6ounce filet). We also had a side (macaroni and cheese), drinks, and dessert and coffee which were in addition. The food was all very well prepared, the serving pace was relaxed but steady and timely and both the manager and assistant manager checked on things with us while we were there."

  • "This was very special occasion. Cocktails, Apps and Salads were all expertly managed by our outstanding waitress! The main course was a disaster. 3 out of 4 ordered steaks; Medium Rare. When arrived, one was Medium, the other two were almost Well Done; with a small line of pink in the middle. The Manager inspected our meals and told us that they were prepared properly. (I wasn't about to debate the point and reluctantly accepted.) Drinks and Dessert were "comped"; which was certainly appreciated. My Steak had a bitter burnt taste and I only ate 1/2 of it. I left the restaurant with a "bad taste in my mount". That evening I was awake with indigestion. Overall poor job! Sullivan's is overpriced for poorly prepared Steak."

  • "We have dined at Sullivan's for many years and had the worst experience ever this past week. It was a birthday celebration so we expected it to be a wonderful night. We were seated promptly and had a lovely table and all was great until our server arrived. Our server, Michelle was hurried, rude and absolutely horrible. She was in a huge hurry to take our order and the dinner order came before we were finished our appetizers and salads. She hastily served our dinners and was in a rush to remove our dinner plates before everyone was finished eating. She said "happy birthday" to the birthday person and was supposed to bring a complimentary dessert but it never came nor did she mention it."

I ordered Lobster Tail, it cost $65, it was a little over cooked. It came with nothing, no option for crab imperial, no salad, nothing. for that amount of $$ something else should had come with it or @ least cooked to perfection."

Until Sunday I lamented the fact that if I wanted to dine out with my wife I had to travel miles to Exton or Blue Bell PA because there was no elite restaurant in Delaware. But then I remembered seeing Sullivan's tucked away in a corner and said I think I'll try it! I didn't have a reservation on Valentine's Day but I went in to enquire. Reservations were made for five people; changed to six; then back to five when I arrived half hour late for the reservation. The staff (very delightful) asked me to hold until a setting was removed from the table. That was it! No muss, no fuss! We were seated and then the elegance of people and exquisite dining began. Very delightful. I'm joining everything!"

Myself and my wife ordered the filet migon and I had grissle running all thru my steak and this was off the main menu not the discount menu. The au grated potatoes were great and the brussel spouts were great but the steak was not!!! The service as always was excellent! I've always looked forward to going to sullivans but , now I think I'll have to find another place, Maybe the Farmhouse or the Rack"

  • "There are no negatives when describing Sullivan's. It seemed to be the trendy place to be. Maybe I just don't get these steakhouses that charge extra for butter and sauces and potatoes and vegetables. My son really enjoyed his $39 three course meal and I think that I would recommend that. Usually not a big meat eater, I had not had a quality filet in years, so I opted for that. It was good. The spinach salad was excellent."

  • "We like Sullivans, but parking is a nightmare! We went on a Saturday night and cars were lined up and circling the parking lot, not only near the restaurant but throughout the whole large lot. We spent 15 minutes just getting parked, several stores away. Sullivans is a great place to eat. My husband loves it; it is a male steak-house fantasy complete with black stockings on lovely young women of the wait staff. I enjoy the food and service there, as well. But if you come on a weekend night, be prepared for parking lot frustration. I gave lower marks on ambience because it does get loud. Lots of tables, not much separation. But on the plus side, we never feel rushed at Sullivans. Overall it is a very nice experience."

  • "On March 1 my family came to Sullivan's for a going away/birthday dinner. Its was my daughter's birthday & her fiance , a US Marine, was home but was leaving the next day to return to base. The staff treated him with so much respect for his military service that it brings tears to my eyes. The mngt team made it a poiint to come over and speak to both of them. They comped his meal and also made sure the rest of us had appetizers and gave my daughter a free piece of cheesecake for her birthday. In this day and age, when people do nothing but complain about customer service, I can not say enough about the people of Sullivan's. The staff and management gave my family one of the most memorable evenings we've ever had. Thank you so much."

  • "I had the fillet mignoing, which was cooked to perfection. Still retaining its tenderness, the steak was moist and flavorful. My wife's lobster tail was also delicious. The management and service staff were very nice, and once we sat down at our table we were treTed like loyalty. We did have to wait to sit at our 8:00 reservation time, as the resteraunt was extremely busy. So come early for your dining experience. It is worth the wait."
