Me and My family stayed at the Esmeralda for the weekend and booked our reservations to this restaurant. The PROS on this place: 1. Great attention from the server 2. Food was very delicious and fresh 3. Were treated with some goodies from the chef 4. Room setting is very beautiful 5. MOM was happy CONS: 1. We ordered a bottle of wine but never received it (which I did not make a big deal of it) 2. The lake is very low and the look it kind of painful to the eye. Besides that, I would recommend that place for sure and it's great that you don't need to go anywhere outside of your hotel.

From the moment my wife and I entered the restaurant, we were impressed with the atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, yet did not hover over us making us feel uncomfortable. We chose this restaurant to have our anniversary dinner at and were not disappointed. The two and a half hour dinner was exquisite ending with a superb cappuccino and complimentary Limoncello (the best my wife has ever had).

Sirocco great food and ambiance. Wait staff was very attentive and catering to our questions and needs. The Lobster Bisque was the best I've had in many years. The Caprese salad my wife had as a starter was excellent with a unique presentation. She had the special ravioli and I had the Veal Piccata which was very. The only down side was my choice of wine. It didn't pare well with our dishes. I should have asked the staff for a recommendation. We enjoyed the evening very much.

After the assistance with the wine list, a well balanced list of value and special choices, our dining began. Mixed beets and caprese were excellent. A one bite ravioli sample melted in your mouth. The Lamb meat ball appetizer with the slightly spicy tomato sauce fit the bill. Veal Picatta and Linguini w clams. The evening was completed by the chefs special dessert tiramisu followed by one of the best coffee services. There were ten choices to accompany the fresh brewed coffee, with chocolate shavings, special creams and sugars. The perfect finish to the meal was the ice cold lemoncello aperitif. All of this is why they have been voted the best Northern Italian Restaurant in the Palm Springs/Palm Desert area. A must visit when nearby.

I booked Sirocco for my first anniversary as a special treat while visiting Palm Springs. A few days before my reservation, I received a call that the restaurant would be closed on my requuested date, and I was offered an alternative date and compensated for the inconvenience. The food was delicious and neatly presented. Service was friendly, efficient and professional. The ambiance was pleasant and enjoyable. While we were well-looked after, no member of the staff recognized the special occasion that brought us in. Overall, an enjoyable visit. We would return.

The attention to detail is beyond any restaurant in the valley...from a "taste from the chef"... sorbet to "clear your pallet" in between courses. and the best "coffee service" after your meal...from chocolate covered coffee beans, different kinds of chocolate truffles ...shaved dark and light chocolate ... just great!

We live part-time in Palm Desert. We had not been to Sirocco's in several years and decided to give it a try. We were seated at a nice table but found it impossible to talk because of three large very loud groups in the main room. We were moved to side room which was fine until they seated a group of 10 next to us. There were several conventions in the restaurant a it was obvious who the audience was. Loud, over-served groups having a good time who were oblivious to other diners. The food was fine, the service was very polite but slow because of all the large groups. This is not a place for fine dining.

My risotto was undercooked. The lamb was very tender but had NO FLAVOR. Dessert was lousy concoction of ladyfingers with 2 orange segments placed on top of a pool of white chocolate. We were there for 2 hours for 3 courses--ridiculously slow but very polite server.

My dau. ordered Clam Linguini. I ordered Fazzoletti Al Bolognese at the waiter's suggestion (House Made Spinach Pasta, Korobuta Pork Ragu). The linguini was inedible as the sauce contained red pepper flakes which is not noted on the menu. My Spinach Pasta, was a wad of pasta sheets with nothing between the layers, smothered with Ragu. My dau. & I switched plates as I can tolerate pepper flakes, but this dish was just too spicy. My dau. ate a bit of Spinach Pasta but got bored with just a mound of plain pasta. I suggest ALL ingredients of the dish be included on the menu for those who may be allergic/intolerant. The Spinach Pasta was true to the menu but what an awful way to serve the dish. High prices, Little value.

We were so looking forward to celebrating New Year's Eve at Sirocco, here having had an excellent meal here a few years ago. We were disappointed not to be offered the a la carte menu, and the New Years Eve menu was limited eg only one desert option.. The food was also disappointing, bland and uninspired. We also found the service rushed. Overall, the evening was expensive and extremely disappointing.

From the moment you step into the dining room, you know you have entered a fine dining establishment. Our waitress, Sally, was attentive and informative. They offer a variety of dishes, from appetizers to pasta to meat or fish dishes. The only negative we experienced, was the noise level. The restaurant is very open, with no walls to absorb the conversations around you.
