Led by Chef William Dissen, our restaurant celebrates the vibrant flavors of the region with a menu featuring locally sourced ingredients from within a 100-mile radius of Asheville. We're proud to have been named a semi-finalist for the prestigious James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurant. Join us for dinner beginning at 5 pm where you can enjoy our delicious dishes alongside a local beer or a handmade cocktail.

Due to the unpredictable weather in the mountains, patio tables cannot be reserved.

    Mixed up drinks orders, manager, hostess, other waiters were delivering food/drinks Large (15-16) table behind us, had to wait over 15 minutes just to have their checks brought to them, and there were mistakes, other table beside us was visibly agitated at not having a waiter. Asked for ice, three times, eventually came. Never got lime slices. Bill was totally messed up; charged for drinks we didn’t get, didn’t charge for drinks we did get. Trout was excellent, five (5) small ravioli was one dish, fries were cold, peaches were hard as a brick. Just pretty terrible from top to bottom. And, we had such high hopes. Also, restaurant was maybe 1/4 full.

    We'd been to this restaurant 15 years ago and it was just as good this visit as we had remembered! We had the cheese and charcuterie boards for starters, really delicious! We had the burgers, our friend the pork; all of it was great. We love the chef here and his innovative approach to farm to table food. Will definitely be back and promise we won't take another 15 years this time!

    This was our first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Service was great. We loved the atmosphere, we sat upstairs in the loft area. The food was absolutely delicious. You could tell that everything was completely fresh. We loved that it was far to table. We absolutely loved it.

    The food was amazing, from cheese plate to pavlova! And the service was equally excellent. Marketplace is a standard barer of great food and hospitality in our city!

    Food was good. But the service was just ok. We had an 830pm reservation and felt like we were rushed out of the restaurant so they could close by 10pm.

    Fantastic food! The charcuterie board was amazing and our entrees were as well (steak & trout). Will definitely be back the next time we visit!!
