Omakase Room is being led by Chef Mitsunori Isoda, who was most recently Executive Chef at Jewel Bako, where he earned a Michelin star.
The dining experience at Omakase Room by Mitsu is built around a relationship of trust and spontaneity between the Chef and each diner. Before crafting his omakase, Chef Mitsu welcomes each guest with a brief conversation about their preferences and curiosities while he carefully perceives their inner mood and desires.
Chef Mitsu's curated omakase offerings change often, highlighting a diversity of seasons, ingredients, preparations, and the range of textures. His 14-piece omakase tasting menu is $220 per person plus tax.
We kindly ask guests to avoid cash payments and use a credit card instead. Please bring a physical credit card. Apple Pay is not accepted at the moment.

I celebrated my birthday here, and it was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! As we were scrambling to find the entrance and get there on time, the hostess spotted us from inside and waved us in—such a thoughtful touch right from the start. The chef was amazing, and every selection was spot-on. We were even treated to several complimentary drinks, which made the experience even more special. The entire team was fantastic—attentive, intentional, and perfectly timed with check-ins without ever feeling intrusive. Truly top-notch service. We’ll definitely be coming back for years to come!

Mitsu-san is a true shokonin, an artisan, and each item he offers, almost all nigiri, is with such effort, nuance, touch, intention, dedication, and totally delicious. His nigiri has almost a magical taste. I know of no better tasting nigiri in NY, possibly all of the US.

This was good! Some pieces better than others. Was expecting a little more from the chef conversation wise. A lot of the pieces were prepped before we even arrived. Usually this is done right in front of you. The flavor was simple yet fresh. I would have liked just a little more flavor and creativity.
