    We were very excited to celebrate my wife’s birthday at this beautiful restaurant. The beautiful beach location, natural wood decor, and ambience was the nicest we’ve seen in a long time. The Buser that brought us the delicious and unique miso bread and delicious butter spread, set an awesome tone to the night out. I can’t really say many good things about the waitress that took care of us. I let the weight staff know that it was my wife’s birthday a couple of times. They are saying happy birthday to other guests, but somehow didn’t feel that it was worth singing happy birthday to my wife. It’s a small thing, but my wife noticed and mentioned it a few times to me. The food was just mediocre and I don’t think it was worth the high price. It did not really match how beautiful the restaurant was. We ended up taking our food home and not finishing it there which to me says a lot. My four star rating mostly goes to the location and how beautiful the restaurant was and the service and food.

    I expressed to the host and to our busboy that we were in a bit of a hurry as we had a night dive that we needed to get to. However, we were not greeted by a server until a half an hour after we sat, then our entrees did not arrive until 1 hr 15 after we sat. We had to quickly eat our entrees as fast as we could, then had to box up the remainder of our $300 meal as we were out of time. My daughters were joining me for Father’s Day dinner. It was a beautiful location, and the sunset was gorgeous, but the service was unacceptable. I have had the privilege of eating at Zulu before, and those experiences were wonderful. This instance, however, appeared to be a one off misstep. I hope it is better next time.

    ‘Ulu seemed nice but it was just okay. We have very, very slow service and their point of sale system had an issue when we put in our soufflé. Consequently, we did not get that dessert (as it would have taken and additional 35 minutes) and the restaurant did the bare minimum to make up for it (e.g. remove it from our bill). A simple gesture of an apology or attempting to buy us a drink would’ve taken a bad situation and made up for it. The ambience was excellent, the food was mediocre, and the service was just okay. For the price we expected better.

    Outstanding. We went two days prior and loved it so much we came back. Tic took great care of us and even remembered my wine and food selection from the prior evening. Service and meal as you would expect from a 4 seasons. Will be back.
