We arrived about 15 minutes prior to our reservation and found that our table was available. Our table was located near the doorway for Table #77 (the balcony table) and provided us with a good view. Our server, Fernando, was very attentive. The arancini (rice balls) were delicious as an appetizer. Likewise, our meals were also wonderful (Lasagne Bolagnese and Liguine alla Vognole). We enjoyed our experience and the hospitality of the staff.

It was ok not a big fan of a chef that walks around greeting people I would rather he be in the kitchen perfecting his dishes that’s just my opinion. We first visit this place in 2016 and was disappointed it was much better in 2016.

The three of us met for dinner on a weekday night at Tresca. This restaurant is becoming one of my go to spots for a great Italian dinner in the North End. We were seated near the entrance which was kind of an odd place to put a table, but nevertheless we enjoyed the entire experience. For starters, we were able to split one order of the italian chopped salad three ways, and it was PERFECT, such a good way to start a great meal. We then tried the calamari, which was also excellent, not heavy or greasy. One of us had eggplant parm, another the chichen parm, and one of us had a sauteed chicken dish. Every dish was excellent, just what we would expect in the heart of the North End. All told, we really enjoyed our dinner. By the way, I've had the Statler chicken at Tresca twice and its probably my favorite. Unbelievably good! Service was very good as well. You'll need a reservation on a typical night. This place is the real deal if you are looking for great Italian cuisine in the North End.

Great setting and service. We all had veal dishes - veal good but the pasta was doughy and not a good match for the main entree.
