El Fogo de Chão® (fo-go dèe shoun) es una churrasquería típica del sur de Brasil. En 1979, el Fogo® empezó a compartir las técnicas gauchas de preparación de la carne que se empleaban en Porto Alegre, Brasil. My first time here and it was outstanding. I brought in a group for a corporate dinner and Fogo hit it out of the park. I requested a 20 person table and they did just that. I was also impressed with the wines by the glass selection as i wouldn't expect wines paired so accurately at this fair of a price point. We had a blast and will likely be going back often. I think I have become a steak snob over the years, because I didn’t enjoy any of the cuts of steak. The best part was the chicken and pork. Excellent service.

Tried it again after having a subpar experience on New Year’s Eve. I have to say it wasn’t much better. The selection was OK.. We celebrated our birthdays, and no one mentioned it. Not even a plate with a candle. Much better at the other establishment on JFK. Sadly, we will not be back
