Not sure what the problem was with service on this Friday night. We have been here several times before and brought some friends to enjoy a new spot. Was very disappointed in the inattention of the server. Food was very good, thank goodness, so our friends were not entirely disappointed. Will only be back on a weekday night in the future.

Wife ordered the artichoke. The produce sticker was still on. We were the only customers in at the time. And it was her bday dinner.

Always authentic French dining with a terrific wine list. Cozy & elegant at the same time. Be sure to try the crepes & champagne for weekend brunch!

Our dinner was very disappointing. The restaurant ran out of the first 3 wines I ordered, and did not have two of the entrees on the menu. One out of the dozen oysters was bad, inedible and our waiter offered to discount the dish, but then forgot. My snapper special was bland. The beef bourguignon was decent, but not great. Perhaps the best dish we had was the escargots.

We really like max and Julie's for brunch so we decided to try it for dinner and we didn't enjoy it as much. The fish I had was bland with a medley of vegetables that we either over or under cooked. I never know what I was biting into... I will definitely be back for brunch but maybe not for dinner...

Been to Max and Julie several time before, but this visit was disappointing. Menu was very limited and did not seem to have many real French items. My wife had the trout , which frankly looked like it could have come from a cafeteria plate. My steak poivre was good, but not great .Atmosphere was still good , but overall not a real special experience. I think they need to work on their menu options with something that adds a little life.

I can't tell you how much we enjoy Max & Julie's. The food is always great and not overpriced. The staff is always so friendly. We plan to make this our go to restaurant.
