   We really like the atmosphere and the service at Gather. This was our first time there and we would go back again. However, the chairs were uncomfortable; some cushions would really help. The waitress knew that one person in our group was allergic to red chilis but didn’t mention that the Brussels sprouts that we ordered had red chilis. It was listed on the menu as Sambal but we didn’t know that’s red chilis. The harvest bowl did not contain any of the vegetables listed in the menu. It was just a bowl of rice and beans. On the plus side, the vegan burger was delicious as was the focaccia. We also enjoyed the halibut dish. It’s a really pretty restaurant and it was a happy group of people dining and working there. We will be sure to mask a lot more questions next time to make sure we get the food that is right for us.

   We had a lovely dinner at Gather with two minor complaints. We ordered an asparagus salad that came without any asparagus at all. And I was facing the Oxford Street side of the restaurant and the windows on that side of the restaurant are really dirty and unpleasant looking but still we had a good time and would go back

   Gather is a favorite destination. Love the mix of seating options including the main room, the little bar area and outdoors. There's a good range of food choices, and prices compare favorably with other restaurants offering similar menus. The location is great; a block from downtown, adjacent to campus and around the corner from a parking garage.

   Usually, this place is a little better. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the service was slower and a little less attentive I think was the main issue. Really tasty mocktail though.

   Noise inside made it difficult to talk. If I go again, I will want to go in good weather when I can eat outside.

   It was our first visit and the food and lively atmosphere was perfect for a Sunday family dinner. Really enjoyed the Brussels sprout and little gem Caesar salad along with the halibut, chicken mole and braised short ribs. It was a delicious low carb meal and we would love to go back and try some of the other items on the menu too.

   Food and cappuccino were only lukewarm temperature.. Mid-day indoor noise level was loud.

    The service has been uniformly gracious at this restaurant, truly outstanding with the hostess/maître d, Lucy, being especially lovely and accommodating. I have been there twice recently, once alone, on the 20th with a friend. Unfortunately, the 20th was Easter Sunday, and unlike the previous week, the outside area was very loud in a way that made it difficult to hear each other. Will returen.
