BEHIND EVERY GREAT SEAFOOD RESTAURANT IS A WAREHOUSE STOCKED WITH FRESH SEAFOOD.
The Fishery Restaurant & Market is located just a few blocks from the ocean in North Pacific Beach.
The restaurant menu reflects ‘coastal cuisine’ with a simple yet serious focus on the best our coastal fisheries and local farms have to offer. The passion that drives Chef Mike Reidy is evidenced by flavors that can only be achieved using ingredients at their peak of seasonality and freshness.
The Fishery was awarded the prestigious Award of Excellence for its Wine List from Wine Spectator in 2018- Present. Our wine list is inspired by the great wines of Europe and their American counterparts and we strive to showcase real, natural, food friendly-wines with a sense of place.

The Fishery Market showcases fresh fish, prepared seafood, salads, sauces and marinades.

    Service was fantastic. Very good cocktail. Oysters and dip were delicious! Fish tacos were okay. The tuna melt was wonderful. All in all a great lunch!

    We love it here. The jewel of PB. Solid dining, consistent service, amazing mixology, and a thoughtful menu with tempting weekly specials. We also sincerely appreciate seeing our favorite staff member Oberon. He makes our evenings extra special! Thank you, Fishery!

    The food is AMAZING, our server was a little bit aloof, she seemed new. BUT I would definitely go back to this restaurant. Again, amazing food and the outdoor seating is just great and the way to go with summer weather hitting.

    Fabulous as usual. The service is top-notch and the fish is so fresh. I had fish and chips and my husband had Baja fish tacos. And of course we had to have dessert. The lemon tart is so good.

    The restaurant was extremely loud, we couldn't hear each even as we were seated next to each other. The service was so slow and the food was average

    The salmon tartare was amazing. The "Caesar" was little gem lettuce with lots of parmesan and a single anchovy filet and possibly a very light dressing. Reasonably tasty, but not really a Caesar. The black cod was sublime, perfectly cooked. The swordfish had essentially a puttenesca sauce on top that overwhelmed the taste of the fish -- you just got tomatoes, olives, and peppers. Lots of appealing things on the menu, so we will be back. Sitting outside in the late afternoon was lovely and service was very good -- sometimes a problem when you're sitting outside.
