Salt Rock Grill is a legendary beach landmark that has a burning passion for delectable food, enticing drink & pleasurable surroundings. Known for our hand cut U.S.D.A prime & choice grade beef, fresh dayboat caught seafood, raw bar & amazing wine cellar. Salt Rock Grill is the perfect choice for an evening of fine dining, superior service & genuine hospitality. Located in Indian Shores overlooking the intra-coastal waterway.
Our Steaks are U.S.D.A. Prime or Choice Grade Beef from top midwestern feeders. We age them four to six weeks in our in-house temperature controlled aging room to develop maximum flavor and tenderness. Then we grill them over our charcoal pit fire. You won't find a better steak. Our chefs have developed partnerships with local fisherman that provide us with fresh dayboat caught seafood selections from our gulf waters and beyond.

    My Husband & I celebrated our wedding anniversary for the 3rd year in a row here! The service is always exceptional and the food is always delicious & filling! It is a very fancy restaurant! We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to spend a great dinner together!!

    Great overall experience. Our server Noah was on top of things. Our food was fantastic. Highly recommend outdoor seating. Very peaceful on outside deck with view of water, several dolphins and a rainbow. However, I did notice it was very noisy inside as we were leaving so I don’t think we would have enjoyed as much if we had sat inside.

    Took two friends who had not visited the restaurant before. They were both very happy with the food (filet skewer and shrimp) as well as the cooked oysters. Swordfish was tender and flavorful. Drinks were tasty with a fun surprise effect. Our waiter was great, as well.

    The food and service were excellent. However, one reason we like Salt Rock is the ambience, and our table had no view and was located under a blasting AC vent.

    Two out of the three meals came out mediocre and lukewarm. Waiter did not check on us to ask if the food was ok. When he finally came back and I told him of the issue, he replied with, 'Well next time tell me at the beginning so I can have them remake it." Next time? There will be no next time. This was a poor response which left me disappointed. Please retrain your staff to be more attentive and compassionate to customers and potential issues.
