    The quality of some dishes was poor. The blue cheese salad lacked sufficient blue cheese crumbles and the dressing was too thin. Other people with me didn’t enjoy their food. I used to come here for special and holidays. Now I’m going to the Crow’s Nest and Sullivan’s or the Double Musky. We had 6 people in our group. Another large party was behind us. Tables were very close together. They were loud and it ruined the peaceful atmosphere we prefer.

    The bourbon miso maple glazed sablefish was the highlight of this dinner - very nicely done. However, all aspects of the service were so slow and not because of how much we ordered (salad, entrees, kids dessert). For example, the parking validation that the hostess gave us went over the 2-hour limit so we still had to pay a small fee. The kid’s meals also list one price on the menu, but we were charged something different on our bill. The noise level was very loud as well. Just a bunch of small annoyances that made for only a fair dining experience.

    We came for dinner on our way into Anchorage and on our way out! Our server was amazing, the food was absolutely delicious. I had the black cod, which is easily my best meal in Alaska!

    We chose to celebrate our anniversary at Simon & Seaforts and we were not disappointed! We were led to a table covered with rose petals and a fantastic view of Cook Inlet and Mt. Susitna (Sleeping Lady.) Our Server was fantastic. She was busy but made us feel like she wasn’t rushed. We ordered the Crispy Calamari and Mojo Shrimp to start. Crab stuffed halibut and Sea scallops were our entrees and Baked Alaska for dessert. Everything was perfectly prepared. I highly recommend the Smoke and Bourbon. It was smooth and silky with just the perfect amount of flavor and smoke to make it an experience in flavor. We’ll be back soon!

    6 of us celebrated a birthday. Food was good (side of lobster was small), service was excellent and the sunset over the water was awesome.

    Delicious fish perfectly cooked. The veggies could have been cooked a bit more. Couscous was tasteless. But the halibut was mouth watering and salmon excellent. The desserts were also great.

    Simon & Seafort is a corporate restaurant (Landry) masquerading as a local venue. The food is good, but, as in most tourist traps, vastly overpriced. The runners could not keep tack of orders. What we ordered was brought to our table, but the runner did not realize that it was destined for other diners until we told her that we had not yet received our appetizers Our entrees were not timed to be ready at the same time. The halibut and chips spent too much time under the holding warmer-the fish was soggy and chips lukewarm and beginning to wilt. A truly high-end restaurant trains their servers to take orders methodically so the runners deliver the food to the proper diner, avoiding the "food auction" (e.g. "who has the calamari?, who as the filet rare?, etc.).

    Great restaurant with a great view! Food was delicious, but there was quite a delay with dinners coming out. Restaurant was mobbed for a 6:45 reservation. We ordered clam chowder which was great! Bread was hit and crusty! Fillet was outstanding. Prime rib a little on the fatty side, but tasty others said. Scallop dishes were also great! All in all, great dinner and wonderful view! Thank you!

    Firstly , our meals were delicious . Our server came across as very chatty and friendly and we joked about how we wanted a leisurely evening and not to be rushed . That said , our appetizers came out before our drinks, our dessert menu came out whilst my friend was still eating and then our bill came whilst we were eating our dessert . A manager came to ask about our experience which was fine while we were chatting about the food however once we mentioned the above he made excuses to try and appease us . Not the best experience in a pricey restaurant.
