Centrolina is an Italian restaurant and market, locally owned and operated by Chef Amy Brandwein, set in Washington’s CityCenterDC development. The Osteria showcases a seasonally driven menu of authentic and innovative Italian dishes offered for lunch and dinner. Chef Brandwein's menu is inspired from the seasons, Italian regionality and the wide variety of Chef curated product in the adjoining market.

The market showcases a selection of imported Italian specialty items along with locally sourced meat, sustainable fish, and produce from local farms. The Centrolina kitchen produces daily hand crafted fresh pasta and sauces, antipasti and entrees available for takeaway.

Experience Chef Amy Brandwein's new 8-course dinner tasting menu with optional wine pairing in Centrolina's private Chef's Salon. Chef Amy's menu celebrates her mantra, “simple is exquisite," showcasing the seasonal bounty of the Mid-Atlantic region and the versatility, grace, and overall delicacy of Italian cuisine. Each dish weaves Italian and global cuisine, creating an interesting dialogue of food (and wine) inspired by specific ingredients, concepts, and experiences. The tasting menu changes weekly and is available on most Fridays at 7pm. Limited seating is available. Dinner is $150/person, with an optional wine pairing for $125/person. Please note we can typically accommodate alterations for most allergies, preferences, and dietary restrictions. However, all dietary restrictions should be noted at least 5 days in advance to allow our culinary team time to source ingredients and prepare appropriate options. Great dinner at Centrolina. Fritto and salmon tartare starters, and Norwegian halibut and Neri mains were outstanding. And the Affogoto was a pleasing way to cap the meal. Service was attentive and helpful, but not disruptive. And the ambience was energetic.

I’m a regular at Centrolina. This is the only less than great experience I’ve ever had. It took forever to get our entrees. And then a $46 piece of halibut was overcooked. On top of that it was crowded and noisy.

Went for a late lunch. I made a reservation for 1. Many open tables yet they wanted to seat me in a back corner. I requested a table by the window and hostess made a face but seated me there. Server was great - she recommended a delicious lunch entrée and drink. I would go back next time in DC.

I love your restaurant. My only modest quibble is that the soft shell entree was served in a smaller bowl making it hard to cut the crab.

Lovely space in a lively, upscale D.C. neighborhood. Delicious Ceasar salad grilled fish and vegetables. Fettuccine tasty if too salty. Sorbets ok. Will try Piccolina next.
