    I have absolutely adored China Chilcano since ~2016. I can’t believe I haven’t returned for a meal since around then. The ceviche remains exceptional. Let me not wait so long before I return for another meal.

    I accidentally stumbled into this restaurant back in October as I was looking for a quick bite to eat on my way to the Shakespeare Theater. When I knew I was returning for another play, I began craving their “When Pigs Fly” pork barbecue steamed buns weeks ahead of time. I can’t compliment them enough. This trip, it was quiet, the attention to detail was superb (we even got a personal visit from the chef when I mentioned a food allergy), and the food was fantastic. Thank you!

    We had 2 Lunch in Lima. For starters we had: Papas (potato salad), dancing yucca (plantain with fish flakes), main: chicken stew (aj de gallina), donburi ji song (rice, red onions, root vege, avocado, peanut). For desserts: suspiro limera (mango sorbet with meringue - it looked like a birthday cake!)and ponderciones de kiwicha (banana, chocolate and crispy swirl). Beautifully displayed. We could happily have this for dinner. Delicious food. Great vegetarian range. Cool swivel chairs, tables good size. Quirky interior. Clean toilets, friendly staff, waiter and manager. They were kind to top up my water bottle. Thank you. I will definitely be returning.

    We sat outside because it was PRIDE, and enjoyed the secondary parade of revelers exiting the festival and parade. Our 4th time dining here - excellent ceviches, pisco sours, dim sum dumplings. Not a huge fan of the rice noodles, but they look so WEIRD.... :)

    Went here for brunch with a group of friends for my Birthday. Had a great time, I recommend the brunch tasting menu 3 course meal. Group was 8 total in size, they had a table ready for us around this bamboo cage wall.
