Pleasantly surprised! Decided to try again after a less than enjoyable experience last season. Perhaps the night that we dined Chef Jaime was not in the kitchen. On this occasion he was visible and our party of 4 all enjoyed our meals. We will return.

One of the few chef owned and operated restaurants in town. Chef is quite skilled. Pleasant staff and atmosphere

As always everything was terrific!!! Soft shell crab was to die for, calamari and etoufee outstanding! Marley, server , absolutely terrific.

The dinner turned out to be a family celebration, and the staff were very gracious in adding seating for two adults and a young child. Brought the child a coloring book and crayons and were very accommodating. The only problem I have ever found at Jaime's is the service is very slow. I enjoy a leisurely meal, but this was uncomfortably slow. I have had this same experience on other occasions. Also, neither our meals nor the 2 desserts we ordered for the table came out at the same time, which is disconcerting. But the food is always outstanding when it arrives, and the decor is wonderful.

Had to ask for drink refills three times before we got one. Initial drink order didn't come for 15 minutes. Waitress acted disinterested and bothered until she brought the bill.
