Shaw's Crab House is Chicagoland's Premier Seafood Restaurant. Reservations made for "Bar" seating will be for our casual Oyster Bar, reservations made for "Standard" seating will be in our more formal Main Dining Room and reservations made for our "Outdoor" will be on our patio.
All reservations are limited to 2 hours of dining.
Shaw's Crab House offers a unique dining experience focusing on seasonal fresh seafood, made to order sushi and our signature Alaskan King Crab Legs. Our reputation relies on quality ingredients prepared in a straight forward style, with crisp, professional service.

    I had the fresh, east coast oysters which were very good. Then, I had the Shaw’s Signature seafood salad. This was not as fresh. Some of the lettuce had brown spots. I picked those out. My husband had the 3-course lunch - gumbo, fried shrimp with fries and chocolate cake. He enjoyed it. I also had an excellent espresso. It was a nice date lunch.

    We had dinner on a weeknight and really enjoyed it. It’s expensive but the dishes were all very good. We had a sushi roll and calamari as an appetizer. We all enjoyed the calamari. For main dishes we had the crab cake salmon and seafood linguini. We enjoyed them all. We had a little negeri too. We will definitely visit again.

    We had a fabulous lunch with exceptional service from the moment we stepped in. My friend was never at Shaw's Crab House. She was exceedingly impressed. We ordered the pot of mussels. They were delicious, especially the broth. I ordered the lobster roll, and my friend ordered the fish and chips in a beer batter. This is a great seafood house. We will be back soon.

    Everything was great food drinks crab legs were a bit pricy but everything else was pretty regularly priced. I would definitely go back but 150$ for the crab legs I’m gunna pass on that. Waitress definitely didn’t like her job either hopefully have someone else next time too. But very nice and clean place great atmosphere.

    Had a lovely seafood dinner on the patio. Nicely prepared Bloody Mary and Margarita. Shrimp and grits were very good and if you haven’t tried the seafood salad, do so!

    Service was awesome. Got the crab legs and they creeped the price up to $150 since last time we were here. Crab Legs were not as sweet as in the past. We get them each visit. Was disappointed with one of the Managers , Daniel. He walked by our table at least 3 times and never stopped to ask how everything was. Managers at this location ALWAYS stop by. I made eye contact with him yet he never once looked at us. He actually stood facing us directing an elderly couple on where there table was at . It was not typical. Maybe he has some things going on and I hope all is well.
