   Modesto continues with spotty service issues. We were seated during a quiet time, and received no service for a long time. Eli, the bartender, was told by us that we had no server, and stepped in to wait on us. I am hesitant to recommend this place as this is the second time this has happened. It’s a shame as the food is worthy of more.

   We split the grilled romaine lettuce salad and also the crab ravioli and scallops. They were both very good.We ate outside and a man was playing the saxophone, very pleasant.

   Weather permitting should we dine there again, we'll try out side as inside was uncomfortablely loud. My wife and I could barely talk to each other. The food was outstanding and the service first rate.

   The most difficult part of the experience was trying to decide on an entree - so many amazing choices! Our fantastic server, Veronica, was very helpful and we were delighted in our selections as well as the wonderful shared bottle of wine. The evening was perfect!

   Took about 20 minutes before a server came to the table. Bread came out the same time as entrees. Disappointed overall. Food was really good however.

   On a chilly 62 degree evening, we were seated at the first table in front of the open doors. I asked if the doors were going to be open all night. They immediately moved us to a table out of the air. The waitress was exceptional and the food was fantastic. I had the linguini with tuna, calamari, mussels. My husband had the chicken parmesan linguini. We also shared the wood fired Romaine salad which would have been too much for one person. An exceptional restaurant.

   We have been enjoying Modesto for a little over five years now and they just seem to get better and better. The service and the meals are second to none. My wife and I are seniors and have frequented many Italian restaurants over the years, Modesto hands down is the Best!!!

   We were very concerned about our experience when we were at Modesto as it is one of our favorite spots. Mike, the bartender was gone… no one seemed concern about giving us water. The waitress had to prepare ours
