The staff were great! They striked conversations with and made sure to answer any questions we had regarding the menu. The outdoor seating was nice with a great view.

We went for lunch to celebrate an early Mother's Day. The restaurant was very busy, and we were 30 minutes early for our reservations, but were seated in about 10 minutes. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and service was prompt, but not rushed. We had the Buffet, Fried Chicken Sandwich, and Cajun Fish Tocos. While those who took the buffet got their food right away, the items ordered off the menu were not too far behind. The Chicken Sandwich and Cajun Tacos were well seasoned, and hot (temperature wise). The buffet selection looked good, but the Kalbi and shrimp lacked taste, but the Barbeque Chicken was really good. The 10% kamaaina discount also helped to make the value good for Waikiki. Validation for parking is a must, but hunting down the pay station at the Outrigger Waikiki Paradise Hotel was a pain. The Pay station is tuck away from the main flow of traffic into the hotel, next to the elevators and hidden behind a potted palm tree. It also gave nothing but grief trying to pay, and no one answered the intercom. Eventually my payment went through. Thanks to help from the Bellman.

We had a fantastic experience at Duke’s! The coconut shrimp was absolutely delicious—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Beautiful views, great vibes, and amazing food. Highly recommend if you’re in Waikiki!

Once seated, we were told where the breakfast buffet was, but no mention of the made to order omelettes that we were looking for. As they were not on the buffet, and limited vegetarian entrees were available (compared to tons of meat/fish) we filled up on fresh fruit, pancakes, rice, and scrambled eggs. Poached eggs without pork would have been nice. We were only asked if we wanted omelettes after we had eaten a significant portion of our food. Nice view, but did not live up to the hype. Overall we find vegetarian options too limited at this restaurant, especially in lunch and dinner menus.

I would like another choice of sweets besides those muffins. There was no bread pudding that I saw. And juice on the free menu.

Expensive but so worth it! This was our last dinner out before heading home so we wanted some place fun with a great environment with great food and we got what we came for! Wait staff was great as well.

I can't imagine why this place is so highly rated. The noise level is very high and the food is really nothing special-- at very high Waikiki prices. Service was brusque and indifferent. I suggest that the Hula Grill (upstairs from Duke's!!) is a much, much nicer experience, with tables spaced apart for a calm and private experience, a better view of the ocean, and a quiet, elegant Hawaiian atmosphere. We had eaten there the day before, and were shocked at the difference.

Dukes was crowded but we expected that. Had a reservation for 6:30 and we were seated on time. Food was good but we didn’t think anything spectacular. Service was also good and we received a complimentary dessert as it was our wedding anniversary.
