   A True Taste of Italy at Posa Ristorante & Vineria! Every time I come to Posa, I’m reminded why I keep coming back—this is as close as you can get to experiencing real Italian cuisine without boarding a plane. The food is consistently outstanding, and today was no exception. I started with the fiori di zucchini, and what a delight! Perfectly prepared—light, crispy, and full of authentic flavor. As always, I followed with their unforgettable lasagna—rich, comforting, and simply perfect. For dessert, the gelato di pistachio and tiramisu were the ideal finish—classic, indulgent, and delicious. A heartfelt grazie mille to Massimo, the incredible owner, whose passion for true Italian food shines through every dish. His team is warm, attentive, and makes every visit feel special. Dining at Posa isn’t just a meal—it’s a beautiful journey to Italy. Highly recommend!

   Showed up for birthday dinner on Saturday night and the restaurant was jam-packed ( and noisy) inside due to rain. All outdoor tables were wet except two under overhang. We ended up at one of those tables and had a lovely experience dining while listening to live guitarist. Service was perfect and food absolutely superb. Highly recommend!

   Food was excellent. Nice looking restaurant but they stuck us in a little cave near the restrooms even though the place was less than half full and we had a reservation. Wait staff forgot about us often.

   We hadn't been to Posa in a while and were quite pleased by the quality of the food. The portions were appropriately sized and very attractively presented. The service was a bit slow, but not to the point where it interfered with our experience. Our waitress was apologetic for the delays and very professional overall. Prices aren't cheap, but are generally in line with what we would expect from a high-end Italian restaurant in our area. The decor is attractive and the atmosphere lively. My only complaint was that the liveliness came with too high a noise level - to the point where it was sometimes difficult to carry on a conversation even between just the two of us. A large table would have been unworkable. The owner should look into installing noise dampening materials, perhaps in the ceiling, which is currently corrugated metal that reflects sound.

The absolute highlight for me is the lasagna—a masterpiece that instantly takes me to Positano, Italy, one of the most breathtaking places on earth.     This is a gem in Ridgefield! We’ve been multiple times and have never been disappointed. The service is extremely attentive without being intrusive and the food is always excellent. We had cacio e pepe and the shrimp ravioli which were both served hot and were delicious. I can’t say enough about how good this restaurant is! Bravo!!
