Matteo's Ristorante Italiano is the product of a long-standing friendship between Ferdinandi and Chef Angelo Auriana. Ferdinandi and Auriana share the vision of imparting their Italian roots and memories through food and hospitality. The restaurant's soul is purely Italian! The original trattoria, The Factory Kitchen serving traditional Italian recipes, opened its doors October 2013, in The Arts District, Downtown Los Angeles.

In the kitchen, Chef Auriana prepares dishes using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The approachable menu at Matteo's highlights the simplicity of traditional local recipes. These recipes have been passed down from generation to generation within Italian families.

Beverage Director and Sommelier Francine Diamond-Ferdinandi has created a wine list which reflects the essence of their distinctive regions.

We stopped in for a fast dinner at the last minute while shopping. The service was wonderful, it was spot on. The correct amount of attention and the timing was near perfect too. The food was excellent, we shared a plate of ravioli that was heaven. I highly recommend!

Way overpriced for mediocre to poor food. Pasta was the equivalent of pasta in a can. Sauce was essentially flavorless. Wouldn't return again in the future.

Matteo’s is one of the best Italian restaurants in Las Vegas. The service is warm and friendly, the food is expertly prepared. The pastas are made fresh in house. We have dined at Matteo’s many times and are continually impressed each time we try a new dish. This is a must try spot in Vegas.

Their pasta is phenomenal! I was there for brunch/ lunch. They Servìce was exceptional. Always great dining experience. Always eat here when I start at Palazzo. Highly recommended.
