First time going to this SILO. Have been to the one on I 10 and the roof top one. This one is a little different. Upscale atmosphere above another restaurant you can look down into if you r table is on the side. The night we went, was quiet. Service was very good. Food was excellent. We stuck to sharing small plates. Very much enjoyed the fig salad, mussels (sauce is great for dipping bread in), shrimp ala Plancha, and lamb lollipops. Were a little disappointed no raw oyster bar but will still worth going to.

One of the best meals I’ve had in some time. Enjoyed every minute. Eric was a wonderful server. Only disappointment was we forgot our leftovers!

The service was good like always, the appetizers were good, we had the Cesar salad, and mushroom soup. The main entree’s were average. The steaks ( a strip and tenderloin) were small for the price , the flavor was fine but not outstanding. As a regular, it’s Not what I expect from this establishment. The sides were less than ok. The mashed potato’s tasted like they had zero seasoning and the Brussels were way over cooked and oiled. The mussels were fine and so was the lamb. I was very disappointed in my meal.

Always excellent. Thank you. The fried oysters were delicious. The service was attentive but not distracting. The atmosphere was just right for good table conversation.

Silo Alamo Heights is their first location, and I believe remains the BEST location to dine with quiet ease and dignity. From the moment of arrival to the final bite, the ambiance and the service were #1!! The Cuisine was presented beautifully and was sumptuous to last bite. I had not been to this location in many, many years, and now it is at the top of my " go-to" list of restaurants! Congratulations Silo!

We had an exceptional dining experience at Silo. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and refined. Located on the upper floor above the more casual La Fogata, Silo offered a more refined, upscale atmosphere that somehow blends perfectly with the lively energy downstairs—it just works. The wine list offered a thoughtful selection, and we chose a bold yet smooth Malbec from Argentina that paired beautifully with our meal. To start, we shared the New Zealand lamb chop lollipops—perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with flavor. For entrées, we enjoyed the special of the day: crab-stuffed redfish in a delicate lemon sauce, and the crabcake and shrimp. Every bite was outstanding—fresh, well-seasoned, and artfully presented. What truly elevated the experience was our attentive and thoughtful server, who not only guided us through the menu but even brought out alternative sauces to complement the crabcake. That level of detail and care made a big impression. Highly recommend Silo on Austin Hwy. for anyone looking for a fine dining experience in San Antonio. We will absolutely be back!
