  • "We went to Seito after a movie. It was my sons 12th birthday and his choice. Hostess told us it was a 45 minute wait. I quick pulled out my phone and made an OpenTable reservation an we were seated 10 minutes later. Told the waitress it was our son's birthday and he chose the restaurant. Her response was "Okay..." like what was the point of telling her that. She abandoned us after she brought the food and we had to chase down another waitress to get our check. As we're leaving the table she shows up with a complementary birthday dessert. We took it to go. Pretty disappointing. Tried to keep it positive for my son. Food was excellent as always."

  • "We found this place while vacationing in Orlando last year. We loved it so much that we returned again this year. Great food, great service, great restaurant!"

  • "Great food! Inventive sushi rolls. The Alaskan salmon was a special Thursday night and was the best sashimi I had ever had! Great sake bottles. The service didn't match up to the great food and restaurant experience. She seems unknowledgable on the menu and sake list, and unfamiliar with steps of service. Overall good experience with amazing dishes and great ambiance."

  • "The best sushi in Orlando!! Love this spot and have returned every time I go to Orlando. "

  • "The four of us shared the Nigiri selection and a couple of classic rolls to start. All I can say was that the sushi was average (and not especially fresh) and the rolls were boring and bland. We looked at the selection of signature rolls and didn't like the sound of any of them, so we decided to go with hot entrees. The tempura (which arrived late) was soggy and limp and obviously not cooked in sufficiently hot oil. The Udon Soup was bland and uninspiring. The Bulgogi beef was over sweet and overcooked. The Chicken Teriyaki was good."

  • "We have been here several times & never been disappointed, it is a must visit for every trip! We love sitting at the sushi bar - the tuna poki is especially yummy."

  • "My wife and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary here last week. It was a blind choice on my part, based on only a few reviews. The sushi rolls were fantastic -- unique selection and variety. The pork rib appetizer was also one of the best I've had. Great time."

  • "we have to drive nearly an hour to reach Seito, so we are not there as often as we might prefer to visit, but each visit is a great experience. The sushi, in particular, is, as one fan in our family said, the best he has ever eaten (including CA and HI) anywhere. The house white at happy hour, made us happy, very nice quality for a happy hour choice. Service is always friendly and prompt. In addition to all of these pluses, it is located next to a large and gorgeous Whole Foods, so if one dines or lunches during WF hours, it is possible to do one's grocery run at the same time, saving gas, time, and effort. We will be back again for another wonderful meal soon."

  • "We have been fans of Nobu and Masa for years and this place comes real close on par right here in Orlando. From the delightful array of appetizers like the Hamachi Collar to the Kobe beef grilled on a traditional hot stone. It is done with style and flair while delivering an incredible quality that can rival many Japanese/Korean fusion restaurants from NYC, Miami, or LA. The sushi is also offered with the highest quality and the freshest available. The ambiance is happening like a top South Beach club as well as the bar drink selection. All of this with a price that is not so overwhelming. It was a five star experience."

  • "My home area in Northern Connecticut is a Sushi & Sashimi Wasteland. Happily, my work often brings me to Orlando and my friends down here always join me at Seito Sushi, which they introduced me to years ago. It is simply some of the Best Sushi Anywhere. I have gone there 3 times this week, which is an indulgence but also a recommendation"

  • "We found out that we would be half an hour late to our reservations, when I called the women on the phone was pleasant and very understanding. When we arrived we were seated immediately and our food order was out before we knew it. This was a great place to go before prom and I would recommend this place to all of my friends and family! "

  • "The garlic-lime edamame, nigiri grand selection and yaki maki roll we had were great! The tempura was just okay. Service was attentive."

  • "My son loves sushi - really sashimi. He is very particular about freshness and quality of the fish. The selection was limited and the fish was OK. He said that he loves the noodle bowls, but would not order sushi here again. The ambience is very nice. The server was good. One member of our party ordered a noodle bowl with pork. The kitchen left the pork out of it. When this was brought to their attention, they brought the missing pork out on the side. It was a very small portion size. The manager graciously took the noodle bowl off our tab without us asking. Overall, a nice evening. Not somewhere I would seek out again, but I would go if someone else suggested it."

  • "We decided to try Seito for my husband's birthday and it was AMAZING. The sushi was the best we have ever had, and we have been to a lot of sushi restaurants. My husband said his cocktail was the best he had ever had also. The staff was so friendly even after we got stuck in traffic and were a half hour late for our reservation. Dessert was complimentary because of my husbands birthday- tempura cheesecake and ice cream. It was so good. This place exceeded our expectations in every way and we will definitely be back. I'm so glad Seito helped make my husband's birthday a special one!"

  • "Why did they change their menu? The roll menus changed with many items that we were use to gone. The new combinations were ok and large portions but the price reflected it. It took a long time for them to be served. My meal included miso soup which was room temperature but not overly salty. I would have preferred it hotter but it was ok considering what happened with my meal. I order bolgogi beef. It arrived on a sizzling platter with a bowl of sticky rice. The beef was impossible to eat as it continued to sizzle and cook until my dinner guest finished his 3 rolls. I never could eat it. I asked for it to be packed to go."

  • "I had a party of 5 for Valentine's Day. Our server was very rude, never came to check on us. We had to go to the bar to order more drinks. Even the guy who brought out our food was rude. We go to the Seito in Celebration all the time, they have impeccable service. This was our first time visiting the Turkey Lake location and definitely the last."

  • "We dine at Seito often. We are Canadian and started coming down to this area last year and it was our favorite restaurant. We have now bought a home down here. Seito is still our favorite restaurant. Sometimes the service is slow but the food never disappoints. We love the happy hour selections and always try to take advantage of this (so we can order more ;-) )"

  • "My family and I were on vacation to Orlando and saw this place after going to Whole Foods. I'm a sushi fan, and this place looked like a good option for a birthday dinner. It turns out we were right. We even got there during happy hour so we got a few bucks off a bottle of wine and a bottle of sake for me. I had sushi (of course), and it was great. I had the ultimate spicy tuna and the hadouken rolls; both were outstanding. I made a noise after the first bite of the ultimate spicy tuna - it was that good. My daughter (10) had the udon bowl and it was great. Probably the best udon I've ever had. My wife had the Bulgogi; her mom had the chicken teriyaki (not sushi fans) that were both quite tasty. Overall a great experience."

  • "All of there sushi was amazing. The pear martini was to die for. Every chance I am in Orlando, I always always always go here. It is so delicious. The reason my overall wasn't 5 stars was because of a little mishap. We ordered the spicy spicy tuna roll, and the tuna you could tell was just old. It was extremely fishy tasting, I was so disappointed because Spicy Tuna is my favorite but we sent it back and ordered something else. They were extremely apologetic, and fixed it and everything was good!"

  • "We ordered 1 sushi roll, 2 miso soups, a salad hoping it would be quick. It took over an hour to get our order. We had reservations. The waiter avoided us instead of dealing with the problem. Did not try to make it right."

  • "We made reservations for Valentine's day, the place is nice but somewhat small. however the food is great. We ordered the BBQ calamari and the small beef ribs as apps, then the teriyaki chicken and soft shell crab rolls as our entrée. followed by some purple haze Saki. Everything was fantastic. We will be visiting them again soon!"

  • "I decided to try a new Japanese Restaurant for Valentine's Day, and I am glad I chose Seito Sushi. We got a very late dinner reservation, (10pm) which I loved. Once we got there, the service was excellent. The server was very knowledgeable about wines which was good, because my date is a wine expert, and chose a great wine, was presented and served perfectly, and the sushi rolls we ate were absolutely delicious. Needless to say, we will be going back very soon."

  • "Great place for sushi in Orlando. Modern ambiance, doesn't feel like your typical sushi place. Food was fantastic. The sashimi grand sampler was amazing! The fish was extremely fresh and included some rarities as well. Only 2 minor complaints, they didn't have the first wine we ordered (but offered a nice substitute) and the area we sat in was very dark making the menu hard to read. Our service was top notch though and the food far outweighed the minuses."

  • "Small space + confused hostesses = being sat 30 min late at a bad table. Had four different servers, our first was frantic and uninvolved. Then barely saw others. Food is always good, just was overshadowed by bad service, and when it comes to sushi, the show of dining is part of eating."
