  • "The service and food at Seasons is always exceptional. Its a good neighbourhood secret - perfect for a break from busy Main St with a killer view!"

  • "My Mediterranean Style Big Salad was generous and attractively presented, and much better than a previous version of Big Salad I had in the past. My husband's Caesar salad was also much better than an earlier version. He was happy with his slow roasted prime rib and we both enjoyed his chocolate cake, which was actually more like chocolate decadence. Service was excellent and the view from Little Mountain as great as usual."

  • "I loved the view from our table. The brunch was very disappointing, though. My friend, who has always had a half order was not allowed. She was told you don't do this anymore, but we were there in the spring and it was not a problem. Our omelettes were terrible-rubbery and no cheese. The waiter had an attitude and all in all, I was very embarrassed, as it was a birthday brunch. I will be going to Van Dusen in the future unless things improve! Thanks for letting me give you feedback and I hope things will improve in future."

  • "Title says it all. You cannot beat the views from here but they are the main reason to come. If they served this food in an ordinary setting it would not do very well. The burgers we had were dull and tough - we've had better in pubs. Service was friendly but a bit slow, although, as we were enjoying the view, that didn't matter that much. We'll come back here again, but not as our main meal of the day."

  • "The view from highest point in Vancouver is worth the $20 taxi ride. The hostesses seemed a little under trained. the general manager was stepping in and cleaning tables. They had a large private party that may have put a strain on Seasons. The food was good and covered a wide range from burgers to steak to great Halibut. The ambiance is lovely and if the weather is good outdoor dining is a must."

  • "My husband and I celebrated out anniversary at Season in the Park and were thrilled with the whole experience. I never knew such a gem existed in the city. The view will leave you breathless, the restaurant gorgeous and the food top notch. Something I specifically appreciated was the service as I find that many rituals of formal dining are forgotten these days. Our server was friendly and attentive, courses arrived together, dishes not cleared until both people finish eating, we never felt rushed, water always refilled, wine topped off, food was hot and (of course) crisp linens! I would recommend this place to anyone."

  • "The taste of the food was absolutely spot on. However, the mashed potatoes were fairly dried and some what taste like instant mashed potatoes. And i believed the foods were not immediately served after they were cooked since they were slightly cold."

  • "We recently had a delicious, beautifully presented dinner in this picturesque restaurant. We enjoyed the amazing view, and had a relaxed evening in a great environment. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a special occasion."

  • "I am from Van originally and we have spent a lot of time at Seasons over the years. I came back for a visit and to celebrate my birthday but it was not at all the same - the staff were all so young and seemed inexperienced and simply just cheaper and the food was overcooked or undercooked and we sent back salmon and then saw another table send back two steak entrees twice for being undercooked! Something not right there anymore - wont be back."

  • "Kitchen always is a little slow -- The place wasn't 50% full and waited very long, again, for the meal to arrive...."
    Dined on 7/13/2014
  • "Brunch presentation on plates was bland and food taste was bland. Eggs were small with very little Hollandaise sauce on the Benedicts with just tiny pieces of asparagus. Meals were not hot, plates were not warmed. Omelette had unappetizing appearance, and $24.00 lobster Benny had to be returned. Was hoping brunch had improved from 5 years ago, but it hasn't. However, the deserts were Fabulous !! Very tasty! Lunch servings at other tables looked more interesting. Maybe this is just not the place for brunch. But the location and view were of course spectacular on a gorgeous sunny day. Our server was very nice and did attend to us well. I would go again, but not for brunch."

  • "We made reservations but when we reached our seats, we discovered it was indoors so we asked if we could get a table outdoors. Our request was quickly fulfilled with a beautiful view. Food was great, server was attentive, great place to have a romantic date! Highly recommend."

  • "We were very pleased to be able to get a table outside on such a warm evening! The menu was interesting and our choices were all very good. Our waiter was very efficient."

  • "We had fried calamari and it was awful. It was over battered and tasted like it was refried. Mussels was very tasty. Sable fish was excellent"

  • "Sadly, after much consideration we took a visitor from the UK To Seasons for his last evening's dinner. Although, the service was great and the food passable the noise was so loud that we couldn't hear our waiter or each other! A bit of a disaster!!"

  • "We went for the Sunday prime rib dinner special which was excellent, but a bonus was the sangria pitchers available in the summer. $18 for a pitcher which poured about 6-7 glasses is a great price!"

  • "We had not been to Seasons for some time and decided to take a friend for a special birthday dinner. We were surprised at how much more crowded it seemed and also how much louder it was. The noise was not only coming from other patrons but also from the open kitchen which many restaurants feel they must have. The tables were so close together that the servers were not able to pass each other if they happened to meet. While the food was good, our meal seemed rushed and we did not feel we could linger over our coffee which we like to do. We had chosen Seasons because of the fabulous view, the excellent food and the superior experience it had provided for us in the past.On the whole we were a little disappointed with the experience this time."

  • "There is no denying the beauty of the location for Seasons in the Park - perched above the public garden in the eponymous Queen Elizabeth Park with an expansive view of downtown Vancouver and its mountainous skyline, all the window tables are designed to maximize this selling point. Food is typical of a tourist-trap restaurant and obviously not the focus; I'll wager you've seen/eaten all of their menu items before - but done better elsewhere...and for better value. Service was inoffensively forgettable. Note: $1.50 for hot water policy. If you are looking for a romantic spot or an exceptional restaurant to plan for a special occasion meal, my humble recommendation is that you look elsewhere to avoid disappointment by lackluster mediocrity."

  • "This is my second time visiting this restaurant. I have two points to make: The menus looked dated and cheap. We arrived at 2.30pm and were given "Brunch Menu" to choose from. That is not what you expect from a restaurant that claims to be the best in the city and it's prices show for it. Second, the furniture and restaurant is starting to look tired. Maybe a renovation is needed. The bathroom is clean. But, again, you can tell it has aged and needs to be renovated."

  • "We found the service to be superb, the food delicious although a bit pricy. We had an issue which was addressed quickly by management to our satisfaction. We will return sometime in the future."

  • "My husband and I have eaten here a few times; in fact we got married here 2 years ago and were celebrating our anniversary. The food is amazing, the service is spectacular and the view is breathtaking. A must visit for special occasions."

  • "We tok my twin brother and his wife for lunch followng the wedding of our daughter two days before. We have been several times before and we all so enjoyed a wonderful occasion with excellent food wine, service and a spectacular view."

  • "We had the Prime Rib special on a Sunday evening. The Caesar salad had some kind of crunchy capers that were really yummy. The prime rib was cooked to perfection - not too rare. The chocolate cake was the best we've ever tasted - so chocolaty & creamy. But the best part was the view! We have never seen the city of Vancouver look so beautiful. The only problem that we see, is that you can not book a table on the patio. Other than that, it was a great experience. We will be back for sure."

  • "We were given a gift certificate to be used either at Seasons in the Park, Teahouse, Carderos or Sandbar and after reviewing the menus decided on Seasons in the Park. They have a wonderful prime rib special on Sundays which includes a caesar salad to start, prime rib dinner that includes yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes, green beans and an oven roasted tomatoe and then to end the meal a piece of chocolate mousse cake. It was so good!!! The prime rib was excellent and came the way that I ordered it. The service from both the waiter and the assistant was wonderful and made the night even more special. We will definitely be going back and bringing friends with us the next time!!!"

  • "The view of the gardens and of the city and surround sparked great conversation on landmarks and different areas of Vancouver. The service was fabulous, food was very good. Everything was fresh, the right temperature, very tasty and satisfying. Service flowed without undue impact on our conversation. It was my first choice for visiting friends and family and it was the right choice. They're all Master Gardeners, so nothing gets past them."

  • "It's a beautiful room but it holds the noise. The food was good, the service was good if not overly attentive . There were a lot of flies though in the restaurant... kind of ruined the experience. The patio is to die for, maybe the best in the city and I loved the farm style sinks in the restrooms. I will return for sure."

  • "We've discovered this restaurant walking thru the Park so we took lunch there and the patio was so amazing that we decided to come back at night a couple days later. Afterwards every time family comes to town we go there. Sunset is quite nice and even if the menu has changed few times it's nice to go and remember."

  • "The views and service were amazing. Book reservations, wait for a table with a view. It's worth it. It's a gem for a Saturday or Sunday brunch. The only issue was we waited a while for our food. The crab cake was the best I have ever tasted (Better than my grandmothers) but the eggs benny and omelette were great. Its hard to make these breakfast items fantastic though. The price is well worth it for brunch. I would go back in heartbeat and try something else. I would bet a million dollars that it would be fantastic."

  • "Over many years, each time I dine here, I have come away satisfied. This restaurant keeps its standards high and maintains them very well."
    Dined on 6/20/2014
  • "It was a disappointment. I have always loved Season's but this time not so much. 2 people in our group felt the quality of the food was poor and the bouillabaisse was in a red base not broth, the seafood over cooked and vert few pieces of fish. The coffee was stone cold and we had to reorder and the second time 1 of the 3 was cold again - decaf coffee . Seems the dessert menu has not changed for years. Sad that it was less than I expected for our birthday celebrations (2 of the 5). Will not return"

  • "I go to the Seasons at least a couple of times a month. But the food on both Jun.13 & 17 were overcooked. On Jun.17 we were waited on after 15 mins."

  • "Reception was courteous, aware of the fact that this was a special occasion; my wife's 70th birthday, was acknowledged. Service was friendly, professional & knowledgable. Food was delicious, well presented on heated plates (important!); all together a memorable experience."
