Diner Reviews
  • "Restaurant's food and service were excellent, and we had no trouble finding a good wine at a reasonable price. Noise level was high, and the restaurant was completely packed, including the bar area. It's very popular on Sat. night. And parking at Shops at Legacy is a real challenge - Season 52 valet is a must on such a busy night. But overall it was a very good experience and we'll repeat soon."

  • "This is one of my favorite places to have dinner out with friends. I had the chicken from the summer menu. I normally really like this. I thought the chicken was rather dry. For summer, this dish comes with tomatoes. I prefer the potatoes with a side of veggies. The portion size was huge however. Great service and atmosphere as usual!"

  • "Limited menu and food mediocre however, service was very good. Waiter, Alex was outstanding. Risotto was not good and corn is not an item to place in this dish. Salad was tasteless and not near enough dressing. Wine list was not anything special. Will probably not return."

  • "Service was great. Food choice and quality excellent. We had a bottle of 2010 Schug Pinot, flatbread appetizer, roasted chicken and scallops. Scallops were cooked perfectly. Reasonable price and portions were right. Server (Yenni) was great. We dined on a Friday night at 8:45 pm and parking was tough--use the vallet service--it's well worth the price for a good tip!"

  • "Wine list is very good and the idea that I can eat out for dinner and not worry that I just ate 1500 calories in a butter and oil latent meal always makes Seasons 52 at the top of my list."

  • "The food was fine - not great, but had a great price associated with it. Nothing amazing, good or bad. The waiter was S L O W. A leisurely meal is nice ... but waiting so long that you've run out of conversation is a bit much. I'm glad to have checked it out - and taken it off my list."

  • "I have brought groups to Seasons 52 in Plano. The groups have ranged from 4 - 25. For the larger groups, we used their private rooms. The ambiance was elegant without going over the top. It was quiet enough to encourage discussions. The service was perfect. I was a hit with the team for picking this restaurant."

  • "Dinner is always consistently a treat, not with overpowering calories, but rather an emphasis on taste and quality."

  • "Of our party of three, the two meat entres, lamb and filet were over-cooked and did not have enough glaze. One of the small salads for that night, the cheese and tomato, I found was served with an excess of vinegar, and the crusted, somewhat melted cheese had lost most of it flavour. The tomatoes were over-ripe as well. Everything else was excellent; the service, the wine and especially the deserts."

  • "Small portions and very expensive. They should increase the proportions or reduce their price"

  • "I was apprehensive about a low-cal place. But, the food was fantastic, fresh, and the servings were plenty, even for our large appetites. Between the 2 of us, we had the trout, sea scallops, flatbread, salmon salad, and dessert. And wine. Everything was awesome!"

  • "Love the attention they have put into to making great food also be fresh with attention to health conscious diners. Well prepared dishes that are big on flavor with desserts that are just the right size. In the evening, a live piano player adds to the ambiance. Overall, a great spot for lunch or dinner."

  • "We had a fantastic dinner. I warned the Waiter to let us go slow and we wanted to do a long sampling. He was FANTASTIC. he made great suggestions and let us rase all sorts of wine as we continue to par them with our meal choices. The flatbread is great no matter what you order. They graciously split a salad for us and we moved on to a great dinner and desert (which he offered at no charge I'm sure due to the numerous glasses of wine we kept ordering). However you slice it they received a great check at the end we had two fabulously fed and happy individuals and we will come back again and again and ask for our same waiter!"

  • "We have been dining at Seasons 52 in Northpark Dallas since it opened and have been very pleased with food and especially service . We have friends that live in Plano and we took them to the Seasons in Legacy. Our server was obviously somewhat new. She had a difficult time keeping up with requests and made several mistakes on our order which were rectified. The service was some what slow even though they were not busy at all. We has to ask other personnel for our server once mid meal when she did not show up for quite a while. Food very good - service not some much."

  • "This was my 2nd visit for lunch & as good as the 1st.. My trout & spinach salad was excellent & my companion said her BBQ chicken salad was wonderful. Our desserts (key lime pie, carrot cake, pecan pie & s'mores) were very good although the s'mores wasn't as good as the others). The menu changes each week (thus the "Seasons 52" name) & each dish is 475 calories or less but the portions are surprisingly large (with the exception of the very small but adequate desserts, served in small glasses). At $2.75 each, if calories aren't an issue, you can order several. We ordered 4 for 3 people & shared--I actually like that better than 1 large dessert). My companion says that dinner is as good as lunch & the house wine is good."

  • "A group of my friends gathered to celebrate by birthday at Seasons 52. The reservation was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. Our server was available when we needed him and gave us good suggestions from the menu. Also, we really enjoyed the live music that was lovely to listen to and gave a great ambiance to our outing."

  • "Seasons 52 in Plano is where I take special people. I have had many client meetings there with great success. I have enjoyed many personal dinners there too. The food is ALWAYS superb. The service is consistently performed well. The ambiance of this restaurant can and will change with where you sit. You can sit at and eat at bar if you like. I don't recommend it for an important meeting or date. It does however keep the conversation light, and fun. You can move to a booth in the bar area. That takes the mood more intimate, without being overbearing. With a little planning, and early arrival on your part, you can reserve the semi private dinning room. Arrive early, like say 5:30 pm, it will be all yours. Price? $75 to $150 for two."

  • "It was my wifes birthday and a great place to take someone for a special occasion. We had good conversation between three of us. The service was fair but, anytime your conversation shifts to "where's our food" or where's our waiter" that becomes a complaint."

  • "We were celebrating my wife's birthday, and I had briefly mentioned this info in our reservation, yet we had 3 different people stop by to wish my wife a Happy Birthday, and they even dropped a personalized card off with complimentary desert. Our service was outstanding, as Kate was attentive, sweet, yet gave us the necessary space to enjoy our conversation and evening. I was even impressed that she re-filled our water glasses after we had already paid, and thus tipped. What a Great Experience ALL across the board!"

  • "Great food and dining experience. I tried the lobster flat bread which was good just different, filet (didnt like the gravy they put on top of it) and added the lobster tail for 10 bucks more. Will go back but not for a steak. Recommend"

  • "The food was exceptional. We began our meal with Flat Bread. It was absolutely delicious the combination of asparagus and brie just melted in your mouth. I ordered the Copperhead Salmon dish and I was extremely happy with my choice. The salmon was cooked to perfection! For dessert I ordered the pecan pie...perfect way to end my meal. Everyone in my party were extremely satisfied with their meals. We will be returning to Seasons 52 very soon."

  • "I always enjoy seasons 52. I started with the tuna tartare that was lacking in flavor overall. My salad was great and my kids enjoyed the ravioli, but my husband disliked his ahi salad. Maybe it was just a bad night for ahi dishes, but rather bland. He left very hungry."

  • "Love this restaurant with all the seasonal foods and everything is 450 calories or less. They simply don't skimp on taste. Scallops were delicious with the corn risotto and the Alaskan Salmon melted in our mouths. The small desserts curbed the sweet tooth without feeling stuffed. I am also impressed with the noise level. You can actually carry on a conversation without having to scream over music or everyone else. Will definitely be going back."

  • "It started with a great way to make a reservation....thru Open Table. Our party of five, two elderly and three getting there, was seated immediately on arrival. The waiter was most friendly and attentive. Four of us loved our selections and ate every bite, one did not care for hers....and that can happen. But she refused to "send it back" or select something else. We find it very hard to go wrong here with all their choices....and love the seasonal changes. We, of course, shall return!"

  • "A nice spot with live piano music in the bar area which can also be heard in the dining areas. Overall, the food is very good, although not always consistent from entree to entree. The menu changes seasonally, although food items are not necessarily locally sourced. Still, the overall attempt to service menu items which are limited to 475 calories or less (per item), is a nice change for the Plano area."

  • "been here a few times now, and the food is always great. Different menu than your regular restaurant but every item ordered by anyone in our group has been great. I would especially recommend the trout. delicious! One of my favorite places to eat."
