"The Sea Grille is located in Gurney's Inn in Montauk, NY. The view of the ocean from the main dining room is spectacular. The wait staff is very friendly and despite the large crowd (we were there on Easter Sunday) paced the courses nicely. The menu has a good selection of meat, fish, pasta and healthy choices along with nice starters. I had the shrimp scampi and my wife had a healthy choice which was pasta with mushrooms. Both dishes were delicious. There is a nice bar where they have a good selection of wines and make good cocktails. All in all this was a very nice dining experience and we will go back."

"Three out of five diners had Pasta dish with meat gravy , and all thought it was bad , one said it tasted like Dinty Moore canned soup, I thought more like dog food. Waiter was focused on table of single women , so much that the Maitre D came over twice and tapped him on shoulder . When we complained about he took plates away and told us about desert . Never go to this place , but use their Valet and eat on the beach . Anything dead that washed up from the ocean wold be better then eating at this relic ."

"We ate dinner at the Sea Grille on a Friday evening during Hamptons Restaurant Week. The menu offered great values, both in terms of selection and portions. The service was responsive and professional. The view of the ocean added to the charm. All dishes were properly prepared and served. The seafood was abundant and fresh. I had the bouillabaisse with the unique house salad. With drinks, an inexpensive bottle of wine and the prix fixe menu, the tab for four came to $170."

"Soups and saldads were great. Goat cheese ravioli was supposed to have spinach and sun dried tomatoes in it-didn't see much of that. Good by the glass wine list. Waiter was not too good the first night, much better waiter on our second visit. Desserts average."
