  • "I brought my boss here to celebrate his birthday. I had the steak salad and it was very good. He had the chicken Caesar salad and was happily surprised to find nearly a whole chicken breast on the plate. The service was great and we even enjoyed a delicious birthday treat of cheesecake, ice cream, and chocolate pieces. The cheesecake was topped with small chunks of pineapple and I think cinnamon mixed in. Totally delicious!!"

  • "I've never been to any Ruth's Chris locations for lunch and wasn't sure what to expect. The same amazing food and quality of service yes but not sure about the menu availability. I went with my best friend and has the greatest time. The main dinner menu was offered alongside a special lunch menu and even though I wanted to try the delicious sounding steak sandwich for lunch, I just couldn't bear to be at Ruth's and not have the filet with extra butter. The experience was perfect. From the moment we arrived to the moment we walked out the door, everything was how you would expect an amazing steakhouse to be. Both the food and service were impeccible and I can't wait to go back again for lunch...hopefully to try that steak sandwich..."

My husband and I never get disappointed with our dining experience at Ruth's Chris in Irvine. The filet mignon is always served the way you like it. The crabcakes is the best there is as well as the lobster bisque. You get spoiled with the quality of those dishes and cannot get those anywhere else if you want a remarkable experience."

  • "My wife and I took our youngest son here for dinner to celebrate his graduation from High School. It was the perfect spot for a steak-lover like him. He ordered the Cowboy Rib-Eye, which was huge and "awesome" according to him. My Wife had the Petit Filet and I had the Filet, which were both cooked to perfection. The meat was outstanding, almost melting in your mouth. The sides are separate and, so they say, are enough for two, so we ordered three sides. But with the emphasis on the steak, we found the sides to be almost unnecessary. All in all a great experience!"

  • "We were celebrating our sons 17th birthday. Our server Kingsley went above and beyond to make it a great dinner. He spoke directly to our children made some great suggestions and treated us like we were his only table. All the support staff was also beyond great. Our water glasses were never empty and Kingsley kept the soda refills coming before anyone asked. We only used to eat at Ruth's Chris for anniversaries or adult birthdays but it is always such a great meal and dining experience we wanted our children to celebrate their special days there too. Thank you again for the 10 star experience."

  • "It's been some time since we've visited Ruth's Chris Steak House and now I remember why. The food is great, but the general ambience (heavy curtains drawn, noisy & crowded feeling) that we prefer Morton's or Mastros'. The servers were super busy, since we were there on Father's day. They twice tried to serve our table someone else's order. The waiter and the front-of-the-house lady who was making rounds thanking folks for choosing Ruth's Chris were very good and welcoming, but when I want fine dining in an ELEGANT location, I think I'll choose one of our other favorites. I also think that the $6 valet fee is highway robbery, but I suspect that's the shopping center's choice, not Ruth's Chris Steak House's call."

  • "I've been here & to several other Ruth's Chris locations. It's a good chain, but our experience here was...less than stellar. PROS: Staff members that attended us were sincere. Thanks, Theo. The manager stopped to introduce himself & thank us for dining. CONS: I requested a booth when I made the res. We were sat a inordinately large table. It was so wide, you literally could not reach across the table & touch the hands of the person directly across. The hostess was extremely gracious & apologetic and she moved us. The server for next booth stood and talked endlessly about himself and his extensive travels to his customers at full volume. He knew I was annoyed because he saw me look at him SEVERAL times. Not cool at all. "

Simple but a wonderful tone. NEVER been to a restaurant where they have done that before. Cost them 10 cents, worth $50 in creating atmosphere. Thank You! A BIG, sad negative is that it's in a small shopping center. NO buffer between some of the seats [OURS] and the sidewalk right by the cars. For our $350 dinner for 3 people, we looked at parked cars outside our windows all evening. For that price, sadly, we will not return again."

  • "We went for Mother's Day, so there was quite a crowd. Service was very slow, but the food arrived hot and was, as always, delicious. Not sure if it was a problem in the kitchen slowing things down, or the inability of the servers to keep up with the number of tables they were assigned, but some type of better preparation or work distribution is needed to make special events go off without a hitch."

  • "One of the best restaurants for fine dining, steaks, appetizers, side dishes and service. Have been here a number of times and every time the food and service is outstanding. This particular time, the service was very good, but did not rate it outstanding as I usually do only because our waitress had an extra large party to serve as well as our table and thus, was not able to check on us as much and offer the service that I have gotten every other time I have been here. The waitress I had is normally outstanding and normally make it a point to try and get in her section every time I go to the restaurant."

  • "Our request for a table out of the traffic pattern was acknowledged during our confirmation phone call which was very reassuring. The restaurant was busy, but we were able to hear conversations easily. The martinis were shaken and poured table side into chilled glasses and I'd highly recommend the coconut/ginger martini, if you're in to flavored martinis. The steaks were prepared as requested and were tender and delicious and the side dishes were perfect. All this perfection leads to a high bill at evenings end, but for special occasions it is definitely worth it. "

However, the ice tea was sooo diluted and weak. The sides were good but NO cream corn? Overall, its worth the $$$ for the steak."

  • "Always wanted to try this place. It didn't disappoint. The ribeye steak was amazing. I can easily say one of the best I ever had. I bypassed the butter they put on it too. Sides were delicious. Food is very rich but you can easily find light things to eat on the menu and they re eager to accommodate as well. Service was excellent. Pretty much your classic high end steak dining experience. "

  • "Everything's was so perfect. We definitely go to this restaurant more often. Only 1 thing if we are going to say something negative is seating. It might be more comfortable if the space between tables is a little be more. We felt little bit too close. But that's ok. Still everybody doesn't talk loud in this kind of restaurant. So, not a big deal. I wish the cocktail I got, "Coconut, lemon ginger martini" will be regular! I really love this martini!"

Cooked at 1800 degrees to your preference and served on a 500 degree plate in butter. What more can you ask for, except garlic Mash and a great wine list."

  • "We had hoped for a much better meal. The bill was $400 for 4 people with tip. The filet mignon was boring and a bit overcooked. The salad was ordinary, as was the bread. The sweet potato casserole, we all agreed, was the best thing on the table. We also all agreed we wish we had gone to Outback for better food overall and a third of the price."
