RobustFun way to try food and winesRobust is great for wine tasting. They have many wines that you can try by the 3 ounce or 6 ounce pour. The wines are grouped in their menu (lighter whties, heavier whites, lighter red, etc.), and the suggested groups are referenced with each food item, to help you pair the food and wine. There are many appetizer and "small plate" options. We split the Charcuterie Sampler. It was enough to split between three or four people. Our server was great at recommending food and wines.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved everything about theLoved everything about the restaurant! The wine that we choose for our meal was excellent. I will definitely visit again.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMVariety done wellThis place has an excellent wine selection, and lots of variety on the tapas menu to keep you interested at every course. Flat breads, salads, seafood, and on... It was all great.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMLinda and I had a late morningLinda and I had a late morning appointment and looked for a nearby restaurant for lunch. What a pleasant surpris!3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMWe enjoyed a pre-theater dinnerWe enjoyed a pre-theater dinner at Robust, with each of us selecting a three-glass wine flight a salad, a small plate and sharing a flatbread. The service was very good, as was the food, but it was a bit pricey for what you get ($14 for two scallops, same price for two small crab cakes).3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMConsistent QualityI'm not much of a wine drinker, so it's ironic that my favorite restaurant is a wine bar. But Robust never disappoints. I love their selection of small plates, and the sea scallops over creamy grits are especially noteworthy. Even more remarkable, however, is Robust's consistent quality. Very few restaurants of this caliber are able to maintain such a high level of excellence year in and year out. It's great to have a solid go-to place for a romantic date night or special dinner with friends.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
