A word from Ristorante Italianissimo
Italianissimo is a family owned and operated restaurant in Woodinville offering fine Northern Italian fare. Owner/Chef Kent Betts jokes about our location being "a pitching wedge away" from the Wine Warehouse District. When we aren't serving up delicious housemade pasta, hand picked meats and produce, and our fun new bar menu to the locals and wine-goers of Woodinville, you can find us catering at wineries, in homes, and at corporate events. Our scratch kitchen and scratch bar guarantee you're getting the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. We take pride in our customers, our employees, our family, and our community. We have an extensive wine cellar, a private dining room, an outdoor patio, a great cocktail lounge, weekly wine tastings, and many on and off site event capabilities. Continued

  • "We invited friends in our most recent visit to introduce them to this wonderful restaurant. They absolutely loved it, as do we. Meals perfectly prepared with a wine list that blends well with the menu choices. Serving staff are very friendly and helpful. Can't get enough of this neighborhood gem."

  • "I had a filet which was pretty good although a bit overcooked.. although the wait person offered to have another one cooked I didn't want to wait while my date had her meal.. Unfortunately she ordered the risoto which she felt was way overcooked or had way too much liquid in it making it mushy more like oatmeal... Went in for a romantic birthday dinner and were seated in the center and we could hardly hear each other talk do to the loud, noisy, table behind us..."

  • "We visited Italianissimo as part of our monthly dinner club. It had been on our list for a little bit and we finally decided to give it a try.The atmosphere in the restaurant was quiet and welcoming. But their food is the reason I'd go back. Our table had a combination of dishes: Spaghetti Bolognese (to die for), Chicken Parmesan, Lobster Ravioli and Cabonara - gluten free. As we tasted everyone's dishes it didn't take us long to agree that everything was superb. The service was a bit slow, but it didn't seem to bother us. It allowed us to visit and enough time between order, salads and the meal. We did splurge and have dessert. We all had the chocolate mousse. Fantastic and not too sweet."

  • "This place is really nice. Appreciate the service and the food. Visited 5 or 6 times now and had a nice dining experience with every trip. So glad to have this food option in Woodinville. A real treat."

  • "Love this place. Folks travel to here for great food and service. Make a reservation though as it gets busy."

  • "I've eaten at Italianissimo often. It is the closest sit down restaurant to Cottage Lake. My longstanding complaint is that they over salt everything. Ask for no salt, especially in the potatoes. This was a problem last Friday again. More gripes, the waitress up sold us on the wine to our disappointment (When someone asks for a Chianti, bring them Chianti!). And the salad was wilted and returned. The Halibut, on the other hand was awesome, as was the quality of the pasta (though the sauce had too much salt."

  • "We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed every minute of the total experience. Over some of those years Italianissimo has always been good."

  • "Located above Woodinville this is the last place you would expect to find excellent Italian but take a chance - it's worth it. Nice ambiance and attention to the details with a strong emphasis on pasta dishes done to perfection! A real treat."

  • "My husband and I went here for Valentine's Day. A wonderful, romantic experience. Amazing bartender; we sat in the bar while we waited for our table since we arrived early. He took great care of us. The bar was very lively and despite how busy the restaurant was, we still received our food quickly and it was very good. We will certainly return."

  • "What a gem of a local restaurant without having to travel to Seattle. Great choice of menu and the food is amazing more authentic Italian than american/italian style. We went on a thursday evening and pre booked on line. I am so glad we did as the restaurant and bar were buzzing and people were waiting for tables.they seem to have a family section and a romantic dinner for 2 section. We will definitely be back."

  • "From start to finish, we had a wonderful, leisurely dining experience. Our server was attentive and met our special requests with a smile. The chopped salad was the best I've ever eaten, the lasagna light and tasty, and the wine pour generous, the perfect complement to my entre. The quiet room made it easy to converse. I will return again and recommend Italianissimo to friends!"

  • "Expected a transplant from Boston's north end or similar. The menu is extensive. The crowd over 65. Nothing amazing that we couldn't find in standard box Italian restaurant. Calamari was okay. French onion soup also. But nothing worth coming back for. Eggplant parmesan was good. Risotto was super garlic, could only eat a few bites, and this wasn't the smooth taste of roasted garlic but pungent taste. Lasagna was good. Bread was poor quality. Service was good. Desserts were a bust. Chocolate mousse had 2 inch long filament in it. Waitress said oh that happens when they overbeat it - happens to with the gelato too. And sure enough in a couple of bites of the vanilla gelato there was a 1/2 inch chunk. We didn't pay for the mousse."

  • "The food is reliably outstanding. The risotto of the day is always a treat. The wait staff are charming and responsive. They were also really great about letting me bring birthday cupcakes for my mom from outside the restaurant. And if you love wine, their wine list is incredible, featuring many local treasures and great finds from around the world."

  • "The food was great as was the ambiance. The waiter was knowledgeable about the foods on the menu. We truly enjoyed our meal. It is a great place to try out the Woodinville wines as they had a special menu with just local wines to choose from. They also had a regular wine list if you weren't interested in the local selection. We will definitely go back."

  • "I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful dining setting and overall ambiance of this "neighborhood gem." I choose this restaurant not only as a fun, ladies night, surprise birthday gathering for my mother but also based on your gluten-free menu selections. As someone who is gluten & dairy intolerant, it has been 1 year and a half since I have had either, it can be difficult at first but end up cooking most of the time. Italianissimo was an overall wonderful experience! Our server, Adrienne was a class act, and she made our entire group feel welcome. The experience that Adrienne provided was top notch!!! We really appreciated her attitude and energy!"

  • "We have had the French onion soup there before, and it again lived up to its memory--wonderful. I had the chicken picatta and it was also wonderful--moist and tender with a delicious lemon flavor and lots of capers. I switched out the potatoes it normally comes with for risotto, and it's one of the best choices I've ever made. I was still talking about it two days later. Layers of flavor and a perfect texture. It's definitely becoming one of our favorite restaurants."

  • "We go to this restaurant for all of our special occasions it's a long drive but worth every minute there is no better homemade pasta, caesar salad or tiramasu anywhere"
    Dined on 2/16/2014
  • "Quiet atmosphere. Waitress was very knowledgeable in requesting wines. Good menu variety. Our choices were Chicken Marsala (no mushrooms) and Tuna steak. Both were very tasty. Tiramisu and dopio espresso for dessert rounded out the evening."

  • "We selected a nice Brut Rose Champagne from their notable wine list which has affordable to off scale wines. Dinner began with la bruschetta di emilio and it was spectacular. Although a seemingly simple dish many restaurants don't take the extra time to remove the seeds and juice from the tomato centers making the bruschetta mushy, not the case here. The wife ordered the osso buco on risotto and it was another great dish. The risotto was cooked perfectly, and as expected the braised veal shank was fork tender. I had the dungeness crab ravioli special and the white cream sauce that had a slight orange zest flavor which really goes well with the crab. For dessert don't miss their chocolate mouse along with a cappuccino."

  • "We did have reservations but we were greeted immediately when we walked in, we were seated within a minute, water and excellent bread were brought to us immediately. Our server came by within a minute. Service was excellent and the food was excellent. This was the first time we went to this restaurant. We will return. The prices are very reasonable also."

  • "Italianissimo is a great east side neighborhood restaurant that feels like downtown Seattle. The bar is fun and friendly (LOVE Jorge the bartender - what a class act!). The food is exceptional. The atmosphere is buzzing - not necessarily the place for a quiet, cozy dinner (especially the night before Valentines), but definitely fun for couples, especially if you start the evening in the bar (we watched a little of the Winter Olympics there prior to dinner). it's an awesome place for a business lunch too as it's much quieter during the day and there are great lunch options on the menu. Everything I've had there is delicious but my favorites are the wilted spinach salad which comes in entree size, and the Tiramisu."

  • "The quality of the food here is excellent. We always have a great experience. I try to order something different each time I go and I have never been disappointed in my choice. My repeat, go-to dish is the pasta primavera in tomato cream sauce though."

  • "My husband and I stopped into Ristorante Italianissimo on a night out. It wasn't a special occasion other than we hadn't gotten any serious alone time for a number of months. I made reservations and when I arrived at the restaurant, I was seated immediately. Everyone was very efficient and the service was excellent. The food more than matched the service. We ordered Bruschetta as an appetizer. It was tasty, though fairly standard. I had the Pollo Piccata and it was wonderful! The chicken was sliced thinly and had just the right mixture of salty capers and lemon. The mashed potatoes were perfect. My husband ordered to Osso Busco and it was equally delicious. The risotto in particular was amazing. We'll definitely go again."
