   By far the best fine dining option in Houston’s Theater District. Bob, David and Dylan are fantastic at the bar.

   Allen, the manager was wonderful. Valet service makes it easy downtown. The hotel is lovely. The food was tasty. Best place to go before a play at the Alley

   FYI... I've eaten here many times and always enjoyed what we ordered and service. Last night was disappointing. Service was careful and presentation was very nice. However, we ordered a side dish to eat with our lamb and it didn't arrive with our dinner. Twice we had to ask where it was. We delayed eating expecting our lamb waiting for our side dish to come out and finally we started eating. By the time it arrived after 2 requests, we were nearly done with the main course. We expected to hear an apology for not receiving our side dish with our meal and for needing to ask for it twice. I expected to receive the side dish for free, since it didn't arrive with our meal. We didn't ask. Food was ok. The shrimp and pasta was amazing. The chicken salad was flavorless, however the chicken was tender. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly however it was flavorless. The gravy had flavor. There was no salt and pepper on the table, so we couldn't add those flavors. I would never order the lamb chops again. Desserts were very good.

   If you are staying at the Lancaster, this is the perfect spot to start your stay. It’s extremely fancy and the staff were very professional and friendly. Worth the money.

    The Brunch menu here includes a terrific version of the greatest sandwich ever created: the legendary Monte Cristo. SO good. Served with both jam and honey mustard along with fries. Perfection on a plate.
