What a hidden gem in the city!! I took my friend for her birthday. It was amazing! I couldn’t have been happier! It was to hot to sit on the patio but was an amazing experience nonetheless! I will def return. When my friend and I decided to go there for her birthday, I had check out the menu the night before had my heart set on gnocchi and they were out when I got there. That was the only bad experience I had was that they didn’t have the meal that I had my heart set on, but our waitress recommended Chicken Alfredo with beef tips so that’s what I got and it was outstanding. I couldn’t finish it all so I have chicken Alfredo with beef tips for lunch and because they’re Caesar salad looks so amazing and I had forgotten to order it before my entrée. I ordered the Caesar salad to take home so looking for that meal today. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend classy just such a nice little breath of fresh air not loud obnoxious like a lot of the restaurants downtown you know that a bunch of people at the bar getting hammered and being loud and obnoxious just a very nice quiet and I would like to say clean very clean environment. The ambience was perfect. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. I will definitely come back. I want that gnocchi!!

There was a rat in the outdoor seating courtyard area. Someone who worked the front door security knew I saw the rat and also saw it himself but never addressed the issue. I was expecting some sort of resolution

My first time and the experience was fabulous. I love the atmosphere. It did remind me of My Italian trip. I can't say enough. The food was very good can't wait until I come again

I took my husband out for his birthday. I wanted him to feel special. By the middle of the meal, he said that reminded felt special. The food was superb, our server was excellently trained and warm, and the house made wine was stately wonderful. Everything was perfect. And I am a pretty rough judge of restaurants. We also gad to bring our two-week old child because we did t have a babysitter. I was a little nervous if we would be able to be accommodated. And it wasn’t a problem at all. 5/5 stars, I would highly recommend.

I can’t remember there server name but he was 10/10. Very knowledgeable about the menu and restaurant. Explain everything very well. (The white guy with sandy brown hair)

We came at the last minute, the restaurant is lovely, the food delicious, the service was excellent. The scotch was very very expensive!!! We can’t wait to go back, but we won’t be drinking scotch.

This was such a wonderful tucked away venue on the east side. Everything from the moment we walked in, through the entire experience was wonderful. We went on a Monday so no piano or DJ which was perfect for an intimate date night .

I have been going to LDV for over 30 years and I will never return after 6/15/25. The staff is unprofessional and untrained, the food was Luke warm and the owner adds gratuity automatically to the bill in addition to a reservation deposit. The restaurant over promises and under delivers. The name needs to be changed because it is no longer LDV, not only has it been remodeled visually but the integrity of the business has been ruined and it’s reputation destroyed by bad business. Zero stars.
