   This was my family and I’s first time at Carmine’s it was a last minute booking (about 3 hours before) because our top steakhouse choice was booked. The service was just okay, it seemed that they were short staffed tonight. The food was good, a solid place to go for sure, I wish that there were more options though. The house salad I ate was soggy, the steaks were cooked properly. It was my dad’s birthday and the host acknowledged it. The host was wonderful, the waitress acted like she did not know it was his birthday and did not do anythintI would give it a 3.8 overall value.

   My husband and I loved the whole experience at The carmine steak house. We had Mr.Charles as our waiter and he brought the experience to another level. He recommended such an amazing wine to go well with our bone in fillet and shrimp and scallops appetizer was delicious too. Will definitely be returning.

   From the time we walked in we were greeted and treated so well. Our waiter Charles was outstanding! Very attentive, described the meals perfectly and our food was delicious! We started with the roasted ravioli, which was best we ever had. I ordered the scallops and my partner got the carmine filet- both were excellent! It was our first time there and we will definitely be back.

   Carmine’s is our go to whenever we have a special date night celebration! We have recommended them to several friends and family members. Been going for 16 years and they are the best!

   My husband commented just after one bite of his filet. that is could quite possibly be the most tender tastiest filet he has had...ever. We had a nice relaxing extraordinary dinner on a quiet Monday evening on our way to a concert. The staff was just the right amount of friendly and attentive. We will eat here again most definately.

   We are never disappointed when we make the trip to Carmines, we always love the food and the atmosphere is very welcoming!!! Steaks are cooked to perfection and sides and appetizers always taste fresh!!! If you are in St Louis I highly recommend trying this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!!!

    My wife & I went here for a date night, we arrived prior to our reservation, and they got us in ASAP anyways, the service was amazing (we did not have a "ask/request" a thing the entire meal). The food was phenomenal, we had the toasted ravioli & a couple steaks. Everything was cooked perfectly to what we ordered. 10/10 would recommend to others.
