   We always love Lucia's and often go before shows at Berkeley Rep or The Freight. This time we went as a group of 17 (which kept shifting) before a show. Alessandro was amazing with being super flexible, helping make sure we were set up for a delicious meal and with no stress about getting out in time for the show. We will keep going back!

   Great gluten-free pizza, great cocktails, and great service. We went in on a rainy night and left feeling satiated and well taken care of. We will be back!

   What a gem this place is. Their pasta and pizza are extremely fresh and delicious. But the winner for me truly is the Gluten Free menu. Since recently becoming allergic to Gluten, it’s been hard to find places that are celiac friendly and care about gluten cross contamination. Their gluten free pizza is THE BEST and with an added bonus of not having to pay extra just because it’s GF. If you’re looking for authentic Italian pasta and pizza, this place is amazing. If you’re looking for delicious GF Italian food, Lucia it is.

   We celebrated two birthdays here the other night, and it was absolutely lovely. The only reason I’m giving the food for stars is because the kale salad was slightly on the uninteresting side, though it was fresh and tasty enough. The gluten-free pizza is out of this world. You wouldn’t know the difference! I kind of hope others don’t discover it! Service was impeccable and the ambience is cozy the way a good Italian restaurant should be. It feels informal and special.

   The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had several small dishes and a pasta dish...all were delicious. Shared a pizza. Very tasty but too much cheese.

   Onion soup was delicious but extremely small portion. Brussels sprouts were under seasoned and over cooked. Pasta came out cold.

   I really like this little restaurant - I don’t eat dairy products but they have some vegan cheese to put on my pizza. The service is always very nice and my friends who were with me and omnivores really enjoyed their food. Great place to go before a show at Berkeley Rep.
