   Excellent experience as always. All staff members were very welcoming and pleasant. The atmosphere is upbeat and comfortable and our meals were outstanding. Highly recommend.

   I'm surprised Veronica's rates so highly. I had my first visit there and got the Red Fish and found it was fine. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing that would justify the $50 for the entree either. Drinks were the same way - good, but not worth the price. So, food and drinks were ok, but prices were huge.

   My husband & I dined at Veronica Fish & Oyster for the first time yesterday, to celebrate our anniversary. The service we received was excellent, hands down, from the friendly hostess who seated us, to our personable & knowledgable server, to the friendly food runner and table busser. Upon being seated in a cozy, romantic booth, we were greeted with two glasses of complementary champagne, acknowledging our anniversary. My husband and I ordered the shrimp cocktail appetizer, which was an 8 out of 10 (they tasted great, and had a nice presentation, but the shrimp were a bit smaller than we expected). For our entrées, both of us ordered the Redfish, and the Potato Rolls. The Redfish was absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious (10 out of 10), as were the Potato Rolls (they tasted similar to a perfected, soft, fluffy German pretzel, for lack of a better analogy.) The portions were generous, the presentations were again very beautiful, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinners. We did not leave room for dessert, so I cannot comment on dessert; although we saw a couple other tables enjoying dessert, and it looked delicious! We will definitely dine at Veronica Fish & Oyster again; however, we might try their outside seating next time, so it’s a little bit quieter. The inside is very loud.

   We are locals who love to take the slower time to experience restaurants when snowbirds are gone. Our food, crab cakes and fries, was excellent. Our waiter, Adam, was attentive and knowledgeable. We will be back!

   From my moment, would you walk in the door and I greeted to properly being escorted to your table, to the friendly and knowledgeable with staff and excellent mixologist. This is one of my most favorite places in Sarasota.

   We had an excellent dinner. The food preparations were creative and extremely tasty. Our server was extremely helpful in explaining each dish because the menu descriptions do not fully described the flavors and seasoning. The bill was a little higher than most Sarasota options but the quality was worth it. We will definitely return.

    I never write reviews mostly because I’m lazy-let’s be honest. But I find myself fantasizing about the Grouper dish since we attended. We stumbled onto this gem thanks to Open Table. We come up Sarasota often and this will now and forever be a staple. Highly recommend. The Tuna carpaccio is also fabulously delicious. The lemon zest is perfect with a hint of a crunch. I’d also recommend any of the cocktails. The servers know their wat through the whole menu and and are very thoughtful. This is a MUST when visiting Sarasota or Siesta Key!
