   Enjoyed a lovely dinner with outstanding service by Molly. Restaurant was very busy but we were taken care of and thoroughly enjoyed everything.

   There was a private party at the time that delayed bar service by 30 to 45 minutes. The noise level was over the top. Food was well prepared but delivery was very slow. Appetizers were delay. When dinner was served all the food was well prepared however my order was totally wrong. When my order finally arrived everyone was finished. I ate a few bites and requested a container to go. This was 50th anniversary dinner for immediate family only. The experience missed the mark.

   We waited 15 minutes at our table and no server ever approached us. We had to ask someone to send over a server. I ordered the filet and scampi and my husband ordered the medallions and risotto. My steak was sour. When our server finally came over to check on us, I told him. He said she would get me another steak. When the new one came, it was undercooked. I had ordered medium and it was medium rare. When I mentioned it to the Manager, she argued that it was medium. It clearly was not. The steak was not flavorful. My husband’s medallions were tender, but there was not much flavor. The risotto was crunchy. When we got the bill, they charged us an additional $12.00 for my steak because it was the 8oz and not the 6oz. That was not mentioned anywhere on the menu. The dinner was over $100 and was truly one of the worst all around dining experiences we have ever had.

   We made our reservation to be in time to enjoy the early bird special. It is a full size portion. I would highly recommend the steak. Our waitress was an absolute delight! Going early had lots of perks!

   We have dined at Stone Creek in Zionsville several times and have been very pleased with our selections. Our visit on Saturday evening, May 17th, was the exception. The atmosphere was great, the food not so much. My cup of French Onion soup was not piping hot as I am accustomed to, the croutons were mushy, and the cheese barely covered the soup let alone melted down the sides of the cup. My husband's pork chop was cooked well, but the taste was mediocre. Even the bread pudding lacked it's normal flavor. Our waiter was also subpar. He seemed to be overworked and overextended. We have been customers of Cunningham restaurants since the opening of Boulder Creek in Brownsburg, so I have had ample opportunities to sample their offerings. We have also visited Stone Creek in Plainfield and never have had anything but superior service and food. We will be rethinking dining at Stone Creek in Zionsville in the future.

   We always enjoy Stone Creek. The service is very attentive and the food outstanding. We also appreciate their consistency. The seafood risotto was fantastic as the special for the evening. We introduced a new couple to Stone Creek and they will be back as well.

    It was very busy for Mothers Day but starting to slow down when we arrived at 7:15. We just had to get our servers attention a few times for things like butter, salt and pepper, refills on water and other drinks. It just felt that she wasn’t checking on us from time to time and we had to get her attention to come to us. She did everything when asked and we got everything. Just annoying to have to do it.
