Los chefs y propietarios Lisa y Terry Harwood abrieron el Vine Street Cafe en 2003. Está ubicado en South Ferry Road, a solo 2,5 km de la terminal de South Ferry. El chef Terry trabaja con agricultores, pescadores y viticultores de la zona para llevar sus riquezas a los menús de temporada. Todo se hace en la casa, incluidos los postres, los helados y las frutas crujientes de Lisa. Have dined at Vine Street a number of times and they never disappoint. The staff is attentive and courteous and the food amazing. Thank you again for a wonderful evening.

We’ve eaten here numerous times and always enjoyed it. However tonight the service was awful. We waited over an hour after appetizers to get our main course. The manager was very apologetic and removed items from our bill to compensate for our problem but we were never told why the problem occurred.

Had a wonderful dinner at this lovely restaurant. Service was great. Would highly recommend the spicy tuna tacos and the mussels.

Our friend is deadly allergic to peanuts and we told server. Server told us all food is fried in peanut oil. This is simply Shocking. There was clearly also cross contamination and my friend had an allergic reaction from the salmon

Vine Street Cafe has become a must for us when we come to the Hamptons on our yearly vacation. The food and ambiance are fantastic and we will definitely be back!

Food was excellent. Service was very attentive. Our server answered questions with thoughtfulness and care all while having a server in training beside her. Definitely stands out from other restaurants especially on the North Fork. Dishes and accompanying sauces proved quality ingredients are used. Loved the chutney! Prices were high. Will return to try some other items on the menu!

Our dinner was delicious and our waiter Ariel was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful and whatever he didn’t know, he was willing to make the effort to find out. There were a few hiccups with having no glasses when the wine was served and the cork cracked inside the bottle leading to flecks of cork in our wine but nothing crazy. No spoons for the soup. Table not cleared between courses. It was still a wonderful evening and one of our favorite places to go when here on SI.

It’s always a pleasure eating at Vine St., Café. I love sitting outdoors under the tent. The service was exceptional as well as the food. It is overall a wonderful dining experience.

The salmon main course was delicious as was the sticky toffee pudding. Dessert service was great. This is one of the few places on shelter to eat.
