   One of the greatest dining experiences I've had. It was for my wife's birthday and they weren't able to seat us immediately due to nothing they could control but offered us complimentary drinks and appetizers as we waited. The staff could not have been better. They were all well versed in the menu and incredibly helpful in recommending amazing plates. They insisted we stay well after closing so they could provide a special treat for the birthday girl. Everyone left happy and satisfied. Only wish it wasn't closing but will be on the lookout for the chef's new location.

   Every we ate and drank was exceptional. The waitstaff was fantastic as well. It’s a shame that it’ll be gone by Sunday.

   Naoki is a hidden gem. I'd have to say it's my favorite sushi place in Chicago - the atmosphere is great - you feel like you are in a speakeasy as it's tucked away behind the kitchen you have to walkthrough to get to the seating area. The chefs are amazing. The food has it's own unique twist - and I would highly recommend getting the Naoki style dishes. I was sad to hear on my last visit that they will be closing down next week. There is talk of a new one opening in River North and I really really really hope this is true and happens. Please bring it back!!!!

   This is our favorite restaurant. We are heart broken that it is closing. We enjoy all of our special event meals here. It will be missed; the amazing food and the outstanding staff.

   This is not a trendy place that serves you smelly fish drenched in dyed sauces or stuffs your $30 hand rolls with dandelion leaves. This is a place that respects the art of sushi and provides a calm, quiet, tranquil environment for enjoying it to its fullest. I love this place more than any restaurant, which is why it's so hard for me to understand why it is closing. Huge loss, Chicago. Giant mistake - there will never be another place like this. Thank you for so many unrivaled experiences, Naoki. I've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and my engagement here. Your food and ambiance made everything even more memorable.
