Rocktown Kitchen is an intimate, farm-to-table restaurant in Harrisonburg, VA serving elevated American cuisine in a casual fine-dining environment. We also have an extensive wine list, featuring unique and exceptional wines from around the world, and local craft beers.

Rocktown Kitchen’s goal is to create an exceptional dining experience outside of recognized dining destinations while focusing on local artisan producers in our region. We offer seasonal, new American cuisine, with an ever-changing menu to reflect the best seasonal ingredients we can find from local providers. The high quality food and service comes without the formal or stuffy atmosphere — no white linens or jackets required here, just top-notch service from friendly, knowledgeable servers. Dining at Rocktown Kitchen with several different seating areas, which include bar/pub, dining room, patio, during warm months, and an event room, feels both urban and intimate.

Delicious salmon, loved the cauliflower Risotto and roasted veggies. Wish you had a restaurant in Greenville, SC. Our server Michael was the absolute best!

We had a great dinner and the service was excellent. Food was great too! We were celebrating two birthdays. I was hoping they would help us celebrate by the usual birthday song and good wishes. They sometimes even have birthday message on the menu, but we didn’t get that service.

Fried green tomatoes are very tasty. Mushroom vermouth pasta was very good too. Our server Ann did such a great job. We are looking to stop by again in our next trip south.

I highly recommend this restaurant mostly for the food flavor and high quality. We both ordered entrees having risotto, but not just any ordinary risotto. This had cheese and cauliflower mixed in for a hearty, comfort food flavor that can't be beat.

We went to Rocktown Kitchen to celebrate our daughter's high school graduation with our extended family. It was a great experience - everyone enjoyed their meal (all ages)and it felt special but not too fancy. Great atmosphere, wonderful service. We will definitely return.
