   We celebrated Mother's Day at [Restaurant Name] with their special "Tour de Alpes" menu, and it was absolutely magnificent! Every dish in this Alpine-inspired culinary journey was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. What truly elevated our experience was our server, who went above and beyond to ensure we understood each dish being presented. They provided detailed explanations of the ingredients and preparation methods, adding fascinating context about Alpine cuisine that enhanced our appreciation of the meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for our special Mother's Day celebration. From the first course to the last, the attention to detail was evident in both presentation and taste. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience that combines outstanding food with knowledgeable, friendly service, I can't recommend the "Tour de Alpes" enough. This restaurant has definitely earned a place on our list of favorites for special occasions!

   We had the full table service which was very good and a lot of food! This is a truly German restaurant loved in inner SE Portland. Tey lots of things on the diverse menu and be sure to make a reservation.

   Tasting menu was amazing! Plenty of food, well worth the price. Staff was great, friendly, and attentive!

   A great take on alpine food. We had the tasting menu which was a tour de force through the best of what their menu has to offer.

   Wow - what a night to remember. We received a gift card for Christmas and wanted to use it. I admit I wasn't thrilled when I reviewed the menu beforehand since I'm not a huge fan of Germanic style food. Boy was I proven wrong!!!! It was an incredible evening from start to finish. We received amazing service, got great recommendations on what to order (we went with the tasting menu - so much food) including wine suggestions. Everything was beautifully presented, the portions were very generous, and all of it was delicious. Can't recommend this more highly. Enjoy!!!

    My wife and I recently dined here, hoping for a memorable meal to justify the $140 price tag for two. We really wanted to like it. Unfortunately, the food fell far short of expectations, though the experience was redeemed somewhat by the exceptional service. The staff was a highlight—friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm, making us feel welcomed from start to finish. Sadly, that’s where the positives end. The food was a letdown across the board. We started with a pretzel that was hard as a rock. The fondue, which we’d been excited to try, was bland and tasteless, like a key ingredient had been forgotten. It left us puzzled rather than satisfied. The bread and meats were equally uninspired, lacking any distinct flavor or texture to make them enjoyable. The schnitzel, which should’ve been a standout, was the biggest disappointment While the service was top-notch, it couldn’t make up for the subpar meal. We left feeling frustrated and overcharged
