   Food was good hot and delicious. Our server was not very good. She brought our food and then forgot we even existed. She asked if we wanted BBQ sauce, she did bring any, we had to ask a passing server. A gentleman.possibly the manager remove the dishes from the table, she never gave us refills on our drinks. I timed from the time we had our table bused to the time our server returned was over 15 minutes and she was confused that we didn’t have any dishes and thought that we never got our food. Very poor service to say the least.

   Waiter very attentive & Manager was constantly on the floor making sure everything was working as expected.

   Our waitress was very inattentive had to chase her down to get additional condiments, didn’t bring salad before meal, had to chase her down to get the check and to-go boxes.

   Our first time eating here. The food and service was very good. The amount of food for the price was excellent.

   Smokehouse is one of the best BBQ places in KC. In addition to BBQ, the salads with homemade dressing are outstanding. Also the best fresh fish in town. Today the grilled red snapper was excellent.

   It was our first time at the smokehouse BBQ. We ordered the family platter for two with brisket, pulled pork and rips. Sides we chose the white cheddar Mac and cheese and the smoked beans. They give you several BBQ sauce options and we chose sweet and original. Had the sauces on the side. The meats were good. We did not like the BBQ sauce too much but the beans were the bomb. The sweat tea wasn’t too sweet and my husband liked his red cream soda. The meal portion was huge. Unfortunately I forgot our servers name. She was fabulous. Super sweet lady and attentive. Likely to come back.

   We spent 2 days in Kansas City and were looking for some bbq. Many people recommended Jack Stacks or one other place but we didn't feel like driving anymore that day. We were quite happy to find Smokehouse BBQ a few miles aways. We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation but were seated immediately. The waitperson appeared quickly and brought our drinks quickly. We ordered the baby back ribs for 2 and the entree arrived very quickly. The ribs were excellent, done to perfection. The sauce on the ribs was also perfect. We were so glad that we elected to dine here. I would definitely recommend Smokehouse BBQ and will return the next time we are in KC.

    Our waiter seemed uninterested and there as a problem with getting the food entered and brought to the table. 4 out of 6 got served in a timely manner. Another came out 10 mins later and the last 20 mins later. The manager apologized and promised to make it good and pay for the last meal. The checks came and there was no accommodation until we mentioned their promise. The checks were all messed up too. It was not the best exprerience
