TEN ASIAN BISTRO & SUSHI is the newest Asian restaurant to come to Newport Beach. Upon arriving you will experience a beautiful grand waterfall at the entrance. Once inside, the Asian design continues where a 16-foot Buddha overlooks the beautiful main dining room. There are two patios complete with fire pits, each aptly named, the Shanghi Patio, and the Zen Garden Patio. The use of kinetic color lighting makes for a new experience every few moments. Without a doubt, one of the most beautifully designed restaurants in California. The design of TEN may be described as a 'Philippe Starck meets the Orient' with its modern mystical dining room.

CAUTION: Ten has lost its liquor license (if you know about its connected crazy club in the other half of the building, this is no surprise) and will shut down during at least August 2010 and use the time to refurbish.

Ten Asian Bistro has become my favorite place for sushi. The food is incredible and the service has always been good. I definately plan on visiting again.

I have been to Ten for business and pleasure (x2) and it has always delivered. Great food, great ambiance. I recommend highly!

The sushi rolls are good but they don't have that extra wow factor, and are overpriced. Softshell crab handroll with sesame soy paper and their garlic edamame are very yummy! Should definitely try them! Service was very slow, in fact, we were a group of five and one girl's food was so late, she got her rolls after everyone had finished eating their food. We complained to the waiter about it but nothing was done to compensate for it. A disappointing experience, specially that I have been here before (4 years ago), sat at the bar and had an amazing time and ate AMAZING sushi! Not the same calibre anymore.

Very disappointing. The sushi rolls were mainly rice with very heavy mayonnaise crab filling. We were hoping this was not one of those sushi places that is all rice and filler but it was. Some of the creative dishes seemed fun to try, many with jalapenos which overpowered what little fish was in or on the roll. Stick with sashimi otherwise ask for the rice on the side so you will actually get some fish with your rolls. Would not go back with so many sushi places in Orange County.

This used to be my go to place for sushi but the last couple of times have really turned me off.It seems to be under new ownership/management.There is a club next door that is attached to the restaurant and apparently when the club is overflowing they open the sliding walls to the restaurant.My husband and I and several other patrons were sitting at the sushi bar around 10:30pm when they started to stack up chairs and tables all around us.One poor family who happen to be sitting in the middle of the dining area had all the workers moving tables and chairs all around them until they were sitting in the middle by themselves w/the workers waiting for them to finish so they could move their table as well.They didn't have liqour lic last time.

AMAZING!! We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary which just so happened to fall on the 1st day of the NBA finals! Upon first walking in, the crowd was loud and it was not what I imagined for our celebration. However, we decided to enjoy the last quarter of the game and then take our seats outside on their beautiful patio area equipped with fire and waterfall. Wonderfully romantic. Our service was impeccable, waitress was INCREDIBLE and we plan on visiting again soon! Oh and did I mention the food was great too! I don't really care for sushi but my husband ordered some amazing tempura sushi rolls and I couldn't get enough! YUM! We had the chilean sea bass and pad thai...followed by bread pudding...they made our 15th the best!

I have been to this restaurant for a business lunch and just recently took my bride here for "date night". She loved it, as usual the food was great. Highly recommend!

This was my first time to Ten Asian Bistro and it was well worth it. The food was amazing, the restaurant itself had a sophisticated, fun, hollywood-like feel to it. The service was reasonable and friendly. I definately recommend this place and will definately go back again.
