About this restaurant

  • Charming
  • Lively
This spacious, romantic eatery pairs contemporary Italian cuisine with great views of Boston's historic North End. Bacco's first floor is home to a beautiful mahogany and granite bar where patrons drink from an extensive wine list and catch sports highlights on one of two flat-screen TVs. The restaurant's French doors are open during warmer months, allowing guests to feel like part of the action along Salem Street. Diners on the more formal second level devour plates of linguini carbonara, chicken cacciatore and lobster ravioli while enjoying views of the city.'- Citysearch Boston. No dinner is complete with out one of our beloved Espresso Martinis!

Second time visiting and it wasn't as good despite it being less crowded. Everything was just okay. We had the Burrata which seemed smaller than last time and the Caesar salad. For entrees we had the veal parmigiana which was slightly over-cooked and the Veal Saltimbocca which is unusual in that that it in a Marsala reduction over two raviolis. I should have paid closer attention as I prefer it with mushrooms in a light wine sauce over ziti. The server was friendly enough, but it took a long time to get our drinks and then the entrees came before we finished our salads.

Very good! My boyfriend always gets ravioli two ways and it was delicious. I got the swordfish special which was a great center cut piece over two lobster ravioli.

This was more of a bar than it is a restaurant. It is a bar that serves food. Very very loud! Maybe it was because of Dine Out Boston. It was not the atmosphere we were looking for. Very young crowd. Younger than my children.

Bacco was a lovely experience. The restaurant is right in the middle of the North End. Easy to find. A great location. The seafood was fresh and well-prepared. The Calamari appetizer was delicious. The dessert was good but minuscule. It was so small that I could not share one spoon with my other 3 companions. The service was prompt and friendly.

Food and service are always fantastic. It's our favorite date night spot when we are in town.

First time going to Bacco and it was fantastic. Pre-set menu for Valentine's Day which was delicious. Will be going back!

Went for the Valentine’s Day prix fixe dinner. They were accommodating to our late arrival and food was delicious. Service on the slower side but sadly we weren’t served our Prosecco which was included in the set price
