Diner Reviews
  • "The mini lobster tacos were very delicious with the avocado puree. The beef stroganoff was a nice twist to the classic dish. The braised short ribs for the beef stroganoff was very tender and flavorful. The chicken Kiev was crusted with Lay's potato chips, a very interesting dish. The chicken was a little dry, but the flavor was good. The bacon brussels sprouts with the chicken kiev was excellent. The toffee bread pudding with captain crunch cereal and salted caramel was a good way to end the meal."

  • "Stayed at Mandalay Bay, so we ate here before our Michael Jackson Show. Nice little place, it is dimly lit and they have a wonderful vodka list, even one bottle that is $9000 lol."

  • "We chose this restaurant due to the prix fair menu, we had reservations at 730 and seeing the show at 930. Service started off terrible and just continued throughout. Waiter was upset that we did not like the Moscow mule drink which he had recommended. I had the salmon, which was over cooked. My friends had the steak and beef stroganoff which were delicious. The noise level was out of control! We could not hear each other talk. It was disappointing, all us girls met in vegas for a birthday dinner and show and only had that one night to catch up. Finally dinner was over about 915, do not understand why the evening at the restaurant took so long, it might be due to the waiter, hardly even saw him."

  • "The service was excellent. The server explained the food in detail and offered suggestions for drinks and wine. The food was amazing. You can tell much care is taken in preparation. There is not a single negative thing my wife and I can say about our experience."

  • "The service was outstanding and the food was great. The food quality and flavor was on par with other Las Vegas restaurants like FIX. Where Red Square stands out is with its outstanding wait staff that made our dinner even more enjoyable. I will gladly visit again."

  • "The food & service at this restaurant were ok, but the music was so loud we couldn't talk to each other or hear the waiter! Add to that close quarters and lots of shouting people and you have a very annoying atmosphere. This is not fine dining, it's stressful and unpleasant. Would not return or recommend"

  • "From the moment you walk in you know you are some place special. Knowledgeable, engaging staff. A blend of tastes that did not conflict with each other. Nice portions on appetizers to share..... only issue was a little dark at the tables fortunately had phone light to help read menu and enjoy the presentation of each plate.."

  • "Had dinner here to celebrate my 40th and couldn't have had a better time. Drinks were awesome and the food was some of the best I've ever had. Would go back to Vegas just for this place!"

  • "It was our first visit here and it was a great experience. The waiter was very pleasant and the bar host was very nice too. We ended up getting additional drinks with our meal because of the recommendations and we were not disappointed."

  • "I've been here twice for separate occasions, and enjoyed it both times! Fit for a fun dinner with my husband and an evening out with coworkers for something a little different. Cocktails are amazing and the food is unique but always delicious. The music is "appropriately loud," fun and upbeat. We were told we could go in the ice bar if we just paid for a shot of Vodka but then the bartender said we had to get at least a half bottle. Missed that experience but it's still a fun, unique time in Vegas and different from the typical steak/sushi joint."

  • "The food was fine but pricey. Best shrimp cocktail ever. Love the Russian decor, emphasis on vodka and caviar but aside from Chicken Kiev which was NOT recommended, there is not much Russian inspired food - not a beet or perogi in sight. What you end up with is a steak house/spaghetti house mish-mash menu. Weird. The biggest issue we had was the louder than disco level music. Less is more please. Will not be back."

  • "OMG! The food was great! The vodka was even better. From beginning to end we had great food and service. We went there as part of a bachelorette party and hd a great time."

  • "Food was fabulous and service was very good. It was a little dark and the music didn't seem to match the theme of the restaurant. The menu had several options which means a trip back!!"

  • "I went with a friend a few years ago - just for vodka which is Red Square's specialty. I was telling my dining colleagues that the bar was amazing and all ice. The bar now has a frame and the ice strip is minimal. Not nearly as interesting. Our waiter was wonderful and we had fun talking with him about the vodka offerings. The food was OK. Noise Level: Energetic? Open Table: Please add noisy or too loud to the noisy level choices."

  • "It was a stab in the dark and what a wonderful little find. Excellent food, attentive service, allowed separate checks with no issues or complaints, even had no trouble with an additional guest for dinner. Thank you for adding a little joy to a week of meetings and deadlines."

  • "Excellent meal & service. Bone in ribeye was outstanding. Started with drinks @ frozen martini bar. Used open table for reservation."

  • "Although the food was FANTASTIC, the menu was difficult to read in in the dimly lit dining room. I would recommend looking up the menu on the internet before dining there so you don't have to suffer eyestrain in the darkened room. It would be helpful to be able to read lips, also, because the noise level was decibels higher than it should be for a quiet dinner. But the food was so wonderful we would go back again for the chicken kiev and the beef stroganoff. Outstandingly delicious!!"

  • "Our server was outstanding (Josh? tall guy) and the food was excellent. A great experience and we will definitely go back. (This was actually our 2nd visit) We highly recommend the lobster tacos and chicken Kiev!"

  • "Had a great Birthday celebration with delicious foods, and fun inspiring drinks! The restaurant has a very sexy, romantic ambiance that welcomes you the minute you walk in. The tastes are one of a kind! Always a favorite when we visit Las Vegas! The staff were very friendly and accommodating! They were plate ninja's! Our plates were cleared off the table as soon as we were done! Not many restaurants can compare to that! Professionalism is very high, and is greatly appreciated."

  • "We booked a party of ten for a birthday celebration. Most of us ordered appetizers and all of us ordered cocktails. Menus on iPads was a very cool touch and we all had fun seeing & reading descriptions. Service was slow, it took about 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. With 8 being delivered in about 10 and then the last two taking much, much longer. The food came out much quicker and was gorgeous. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. The kobe beef sliders melted in our mouths and the tuna tartare was so flavorful!"

  • "A visit here was long overdue, as there are relatively few options at Mandalay Bay that are nice but not really high-end like Aureole. The menu is a bit short and features a lot of expensive caviar, and if you have picky children, forget it. But the drinks were delicious, the food quite good (Chicken Kiev in particular), and the setting feels like a gothic castle."

  • "We chose the restaurant for the vodka them of course. We were thrilled with the food. Guest 1 - Stroganoff; Guest 2 - Fish; and Guest 3 - Surf and Turf. Simply stated, all plates were clean."

  • "We've been to Red Square several times before but apparently it is under new management, so the more authentic experience of vodka and caviar has given way to very loud club music, poor to fair service, and mediocre drinks. While everything in Vegas is geared toward tourists, we appreciated that Red Square was somewhat unique in that it offered a fun experience but had focused on the basics. With that said, the food was really very good, so at least they have a good team back in the kitchen."

  • "This was our first time at Red Square, and it didn't disappoint! Our food was great, came out very fast, it's a little dark in the restuarant as I saw some people using there flashlight on there cellphones to read the menu. Our server Anna was very good, always checking on us and even tools some pictures of my wife and myself. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

  • "It was a quite night for dinner crowd. So the ambience was missed this time around. I've been a few times and seems hit or miss. Best enjoyed when place is full for dinner, if that's what you're looking for. The bar is great for vodka tastings and going with friends in to the vodka freezer."

  • "Too noisy. Food is mediocre. A fist fight took place and the booth next to us was shattered. Will not return, would never recommend. Sorry we went. "

  • "The bar has a great variety of vodka drinks, the food pricey but the steak is excellent. Noisy and vibrant but that sums up Vegas.."

  • "We booked this restaurant based on the fact that it had a fabulous vodka menu and drink menu and the fact that we have never had Russian food and may never get the opportunity again. The food was absolutely amazing, the service was also amazing. We would definitely recommend the Red Square"

  • "I really enjoyed the Siberian Nachos. Don't think nachos though... think sashimi appetizer with a twist. Can't remember exactly what they were, but an order is 4 potato chips loaded up with seafood and goodness. Very tasty! We had a large group, so we ordered off a limited menu, but everyone at the table raved over the beef stroganoff and the chicken kiev. The drink menu is a very eclectic blend of cocktails, but the two different drinks I had were both very good (white ruskie and chernobyl). I was planning on drinking draft beer, but all they had were bottles, so I decided to dive right into their cocktail menu, and I'm glad I did."

  • "We were seated in the bar at a tiny table with no table cloth. There was a private party that had the entire dining room and they were very noisy. We left after being seated and went across the way to a different restaurant. "

  • "Red Square is a nice place to hang out and have some great cocktails, before hitting nightclubs. The food and service is also great and the stuff more than friendly."

  • "Took graduating from high school grandson and his mom to dinner as he likes ethnic food. I had been there before for an exceptional meal. This time, things were very different. We wanted the Borst soup since this is a Russian restaurant which I had on my last visit. They no longer offer the soup or anything similar. Literally, only a couple of items could be considered a "Russian dish". While the Red Square has always been expensive, it seemed even more so this time. While we had no alcoholic drinks, the bill was $194. Food was very good, but not large portions (Chicken Kiev for example). Small side of mash potatoes was $9.00 Overall, disappointed. Did they change management or ownership? "

  • "We had the pre theater, hope the regular menu was better. The stroganoff was re-invented and didn't work or satisfy cravings for good stroganoff. Very disappointed with the short rib and side of ricotta noodles the Kiev was even worse. The joys of Chicken Kiev involve the cutting into the fried breast and seeing the butter ooze out. This came pre-sliced and dry as a bone. The "potato chip" crust gave it some crunch but not a Kiev at all. The skimpy appetisers, mini lobster tacos and the tiny salmon pizza wre adequate. Dessert was a disappointing supposedly strawberry sorbet that barely had any berry identifiable taste Four very disappointed diners will never return there."
