   Absolutely fantastic. The food, wowee, couldn’t fault it at all. We almost didn’t go because of the snow but so pleased we did. Such a shame to hear that it is closing because of the ridiculous rent hikes that Hackney businesses are facing. Well it’s a true gem so we will definitely book when Ellory reopens as Leroy in Shoreditch. A loss for Hackney though.

   Lovely. Trout crackers were amazing. Some dishes were a bit over seasoned for our taste. Really nice service

   My partner and I visited Ellory for lunch and were disappointed to find that there was no distinction between the lunch and dinner menus which made it a rather expensive affair. We were even more disappointed to find that we were the only diners! Overall the venue was entirely lacking in atmosphere and while the food was creative and interesting it wasn’t quite suited to lunchtime and it unfortunately couldn’t make up for the rather cold and empty venue. It may be an entirely different scenario in the evenings but I would not recommend Ellory for lunch.

   Heard good things about this place from others and was not disappointed. The food was excellent and the attention of service pitched at just the right leveL. It has a Michelin star but is a more informal dining experience that you might expect. The restaurant is less fancy than say some of the "corporate card restaurants" but food is on a level if not better.

   We had a lovely meal, the Chefs menu for 4 of us. It wasn’t busy (a Monday evening) but we didn’t even notice to be honest. The service was excellent and the food fresh and menu inventive.

    Took my husband for his birthday. Absolutely amazing food, staff were brilliant, atmosphere lovely. Would definitely go again.
