The kitchen got backed up so we were waiting a while for our food. These things happen and our waitress took a few things off the bill and promised if we came back it would not happen again. Very pleased with the service.

It’s a reliable restaurant. You can almost always get a table and the restaurant is clean and well kept. The service is very standard as is the food.

The staff was friendly, but the service was slow and inconsistent. We had three different people wait on us throughout the evening without any real handoff. Overall, food was really good, though we sent the miso salmon back due to the broth tasting like cleaning solution. The manager, Rachel, was friendly and accommodating and took this off the bill. We heard the table nearest us send a dish back as well (the burger), so maybe it was a bad night in the back. With the offerings in the LA food scene, I’d skip Commerson.
